Standing out on the marina with its red façade, Café Rouge Brighton serves a tasty array of French dishes in relaxed surroundings. An al fresco dining area overlooks Brighton Marina.
As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.
In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

Very enjoyable lunch. Steak and frites is always good at Cafe Rouge, deal included a nice glass of red wine. We had a sharing starter and beer before the steak! Plenty of room in the Marina cafe Rouge and great service.

I have a dairy & wheat allergy. I was able to have a choice of 2 main courses but only 1 starter. Dessert always a problem but am happy to say there was a choice of sorbet. Restaurant welcome was friendly. The waitress that served us did not stop. She is a credit to the restaurant. Unfortunately I did not get her name. ( Sunday 13.00 hrs)

Visited Brighton Marina cafe rouge the staff were extremely helpful and the food was cooked to perfection very pleasant experience with my family well done to all that work there

We ad a very nice meal on Wednesday at Brighton Marina, out waitress was excellent and the food was very enjoyable, nice choices as well, will certainly make another visit to this restaurant, would recommend it.

Very disappointing. Dishes not available onion soup, mussels, savoury veg tart, no goats cheese, chutney for the pate and so on. Restaurant itself very pleasant. Strange mishmash of music. Staff more interested in talking to each other. Rump steak dry and tough.
