The cosy Café Mode Drury Lane in London serves fresh Italian food minutes away from Covent Garden. The warm interior features mahogany tables and evokes a bohemian vibe, plus there’s outside seating to enjoy the bustle of Theatreland.

Gourmet hand-pressed burgers are topped with rocket and mozzarella, while a tempting grill choice features salmon, sea bass and king prawns. There are plenty of vegetarian favourites among the Café Mode range of pizzas, plus goat’s cheese or roasted vegetable salad.

All of the classic pastas and risottos are cooked up at the Café Mode restaurant, with specialities including spaghetti with tiger prawns, squid and mussels. Prime sirloin steak and meaty lamb cutlets are also on the menu.

As well as delicious mojitos, margaritas and caipirinhas, there’s a broad choice of world wines on the Café Mode menu. Café Mode Drury Lane in London is a 4-minute walk from Holborn Tube Station.

Tuesday 19th March early evening pre theatre. Ordered Garlic Break, Lasagna, and Coffees. Garlic break dough base not cooked through... Lasagna was disgusting, tasteless and on dirty plates... looked like it may have been frozen put into a dish and slapped in microwave. Honestly I have never tasted anything so disgusting. My mother 81 years old and myself could not eat it, and I notice the table nearby also failed to eat it. There was no flavour to it and even trying to add salt could not get any flavour. Will not return to any Mode Restaurant it has been struck off the family list of places.
