Cafe Mode – Covent Garden sits in a quaint, pretty setting just 2 minutes’ walk from Shaftesbury Theatre. As well as popular pavement dining, the cosy dining room offers sleek, bistro-style furnishings.
Offering a Mediterranean style retreat in bustling Covent Garden, the Café Mode menu combines Italian classics with a range of simple, succulent grill dishes. Cafe Mode restaurant offers a well researched wine selection, from easy-drinking, fruity choices to spicy, savoury aromas, alongside a range of international beers. To round off a delicious meal, Cafe Mode London offers a tempting range of desserts, where the tangy raspberry torte and the sumptuous amaretto cheesecake always prove popular choices.

food was good - service poor. seemed humorous to begin with, friendly, however just too busy and we were forgotten.
Can't fault how nice the host was, just asking for water, not provided the little things became annoying.

Not an enjoyable experience. We all felt like we where in the way/Our orders where wrong/Very Rushed Affair/By the time we ordered dessert the service was non existent .

Food was good........however service reminiscent of a Fawlty Towers sketch.
Good value using Tastecard but they added a whacking service charge.

Small, cosy, warm Italian...great value for money away from the bustle of Covent Garden which was particularly busy on rainy night and no tube access. We had the Salmon, cooked perfectly, and 3 pizzas. Warm friendly waiter great sense of humour, would definitely go back.

I booked mentioning tastecard but was not told it could not be used on their set menu, I would have chosen from another menu if I knew. The staff were friendly but the service was slow as they were so busy

After waiting about 15 minutes for our booked table the food came relatively quickly and was well prepared. This place is a bit cramped and very busy, but great value for money on the tastecard on a Saturday night. The manager was very friendly and invited us to the comedy show, but unfortunately we had other plans for the evening.

Excellent food and great service. Prices very reasonable and 50% off on the food bill - you really can't go wrong.
