Excellent service, good value. Food maybe a little basic - but probably would have been better if I'd chosen pasta or risotto, which looked really good. Lovely people and lovely atmosphere.

Food generally good. The mushroom risotto was poor, some of mushrooms were inedible, hadn't been soaked long enough. The young Italian waiter very nice. The head waiter (an Algerian gentleman )was brusque shouted at the young waiter for all the diners to hear several times. ..When I checked my reservation by phone he was very offhand just wanted to get rid of me, it was only 11.30 in the morning.
We wouldn't return because of him. Shame.

Scruffy place. Nice staff really pleasant and helpful. Problem with bill but resolved. Cheeseburger was very good. Comedy was downstairs in a smelly little room with a 'crowd' of ten, the acts were young people learning their craft. The female went on about menstrual cycles and vampires, not funny, another read bee jokes from his mobile a very nice disabled lad did some good stuff and John Long was excellent could have watched him for a lot longer. Wouldn't bother to go again.

Felt like we were on a conveyor belt... seated, pizza, glass of cava then down to the dungeon for a weak comedy show. Saturday 13th February. ..the 2nd guy really shouldn't give up his day job! He kept saying" I've lost you" when we didn't laugh at his very poor humour.
John Long was very funny! !
U get what u pay for tbh... cheap night!

Could have had pre-theatre meal which looked good value but fancied the risotto. Delicious, good portion. Quiet but still had nice atmosphere. Very convenient for the New Theatre.

Booked a table for 18.30 got there asked if they could definitely have our meal ready so we can leave within reasonable time to get to our theatre show at 19.30 got told yes of course no problem. So we sit down we say well order straight away and we order two pizzas garlic bread and chips to all come out together. About 15 mins later we get our garlic bread and chips, not what we asked for but fine we'll start while our pizzas are coming it gets 19.05 and we've seen 2 lots of couples who have ordered after us have there pizzas arrive. I ask the waiter who was serving us and he said 2 mins 2 mins it's on it's way. Over the next 10 mins he just avoided us and when trying to find him he just disappears to the kitchen, I then say can I just have the bill for what we had and go. He then takes disappears for another two minutes, brings the bill over which for garlic bread, a sorry excuse for a portion of chips 2 little glasses of Coke and he so lovely adds a service charge it comes to £13.89 i give him £15 in cash because I'm already so late but said want my change as he didn't deserve a tip and this was at 19.28 he then disappears past the till and into the kitchen with the cash. We leave for the theatre which is 3 mins walk and run we get there at 19.31, we miss the first 10 mins and were considerably hungry throughout. If the waiter had said from the beginning we won't be able to serve you In time we would of happily gone to the fish and chip shop next door. All in all I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want disappearing staff, no food and to completely waste your money while the waiter robs you of your change that would have been more deserving going to the polite homeless man I saw outside.
