Cabana brings Brazilian street food to central London. A buzzy West End retreat, the eclectic menu is served in a bright, laidback dining room, with outdoor seating available in warmer weather.

Designed for sharing, the Cabana menu offers a range of flavour-packed snacks and larger dishes. Tuck into cheesy dough balls with garlic butter, salt cod fritters with lime mayo, or chargrilled halloumi with guava dip. Mains with a kick include flame-grilled skewers, a stack of ribs, and slow-cooked pork and beef burrito with a black bean stew.

Indulgent desserts round off the menu at Cabana Covent Garden. Savour churros with hot chocolate, doughnuts stuffed with Nutella, or the Brazilian overload sundae, packed with caramel chocolate chip and white chocolate ice creams, chocolate truffles and caramel sauce.

Very disappointing. I ordered the 'Sambawich' expecting a hearty brazilian meal with lovely meats.
Instead I got an embarrassingly small pita bread sliced into four with a few bits of meat and some small veg.
The Churrasco Fries were so overseasoned that I couldn't finish them.
The BIRO-BIRO RICE was the complete opposite under seasoned and not far off tasting like plain rice.
The herbs, spring onions and shallots mentioned just seemed to be dumped on top.
My friends sweet potato fries weren't fully cooked but he said his chicken wrap was alright.
Noone came to ask how our meal was. I had to catch the managers attention to complain and had finished our meal by then, which didn't take long.
I was told the sandwich was small, even though it was clearly in the Mains section of the menu.
And that I should have said something and he could have helped but as I said I had to get his attention as noone came to ask.
The manager was helpful and gave us his discount but then we waited ages to get the bill. Had to get a third person to go chase it up. Left very annoyed and still hungry.
If your looking for tasty hearty brazilian food go elsewhere.

Somewhere in between a Nando's and a Wahaca.

We we're really looking forward to visiting after a previous good experience and reading positive reviews. However, we we're greatly disappointed by the overall quality of food and service.

The food came out suspiciously quickly, before we even had drinks and it was cold. The 'corn' slightly resembled handgun ammunition, totally inedible and near lethal. We brought this to the attention of the staff, they took away our food and it returned tepid and insipid. In regards to the corn, we were horrified to hear that 'all of our corn is like that' one must assume that it had been microwaved in a large batch and left on the side.

The only silver lining was the cocktail, but how hard is it to throw some alcohol in a jar?

Unfortunately we won't be returning as we love proper Brazilian food.

Really delicious food but there was no real atmosphere and the coffee wasn't very nice.

Had a lovely time, staff were friendly and helpful,
The food was good and there was a nice ambience.

The food here was awful. It was nothing like the photos online. It was all tasteless, going off salad and the meat covered in a cheap really sweet sauce. My partners steak was completely plain and was meant to be covered in a chimicheri sauce. It just taste like it was boiled. It was meant to be medium rare but it couldn't have been any more well done. Don't even get me started on the salad or guacamole. Such a waste of £50

Awful. We left when our main courses still hadn't arrived after an hour. Only good thing was the sincere apology and the fact that the bill was waived.
