Cabana brings Brazilian street food to central London. A buzzy West End retreat, the eclectic menu is served in a bright, laidback dining room, with outdoor seating available in warmer weather.
Designed for sharing, the Cabana menu offers a range of flavour-packed snacks and larger dishes. Tuck into cheesy dough balls with garlic butter, salt cod fritters with lime mayo, or chargrilled halloumi with guava dip. Mains with a kick include flame-grilled skewers, a stack of ribs, and slow-cooked pork and beef burrito with a black bean stew.
Indulgent desserts round off the menu at Cabana Covent Garden. Savour churros with hot chocolate, doughnuts stuffed with Nutella, or the Brazilian overload sundae, packed with caramel chocolate chip and white chocolate ice creams, chocolate truffles and caramel sauce.

I loved the fact that nothing seemed to much trouble, the staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful.
The wine was great value and I would recommend buying a bottle. I had difficulty choosing the food as there were a lot of things that I like, but I settled on the slow cooked beef with black beans and was happy that I did because it was delicious.

5.30pm dinner before the theatre, service was prompt but not too quick, food delicious, chicken moist and tasty, salad and sweet potato fries not processed, Wasn’t left feeling bloated in the theatre. Highly recommend it as a pre theatre meal.

We had the Valentine's Day menu but it was very restricted.
There was only one desert on offer which included nuts and due to an allergy could not order it.

Great Caipirinhas but the rest very average. Food sounded amazing on paper but chicken pita had pretty much no taste, squid rings and beef burrito were a bit better. Service was slow considering there were very few tables, but only one person on the bar and one person serving food (who was difficult to understand). Disappointed by the chicken but fine for a quick & budget pre-theatre meal, the decor is pretty cool too.

The food was of a very high quality, as I had expected, but when our fries arrived they were cold. When we complained about this, the servers took them away and replaced them with fresh ones. After our main course, the plates were taken away and then our server went on a break or left for the night, and we were completely abandoned, not asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu or have the bill. We waited for about 25 minutes, all the while trying to catch someone's eye unsuccessfully, then finally managed to get a waitress to come over. We had originally planned to order dessert and another round of drinks, but were so angry by the time we actually got attended to that we just got the bill and left. Absolutely appalling, especially as we had looked forward to the meal after an excellent experience at the restaurant in Newcastle.

Good food, a little less formal than expecting, but good grub and good service.

Fun and lively atmosphere. The waiter was life and soul of the party; might be a little OTT and intrusive for some, but we had a good time!
