Set in a majestic former bank, Byron Glasgow is a family-friendly hamburger restaurant in the heart of the city. Edgy, urban-style décor is offset by a flash open kitchen, offering views of the chefs in action.

The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.

Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.

Boasting the eclectic interior design Byron is known for, the Glasgow Byron restaurant features sleek minimalist furnishings and muted monochrome shades. Queen Street Train Station is a 3-minute walk away.

Thoroughly my experience at Byron. I was accompanied by my 16 year old granddaughter. We had the natchos with the guacamole and chile sauce. The guacamole was excellent, the, chilli sauce was a bit too chilli for me. I had the classic burger which I thoroughly enjoyed and I could taste that his burger was made of minced beef which I really appreciated. The young man who showed us to our table and served us was very friendly and, helpful and as we were leaving the restaurant all of the waiting staff who were around said us good bye and hoped we had enjoyed our meal etc. This I thought was a really nice touch.

I met three friends here for our once-a-year catch-up. They hadn't been before and were impressed with the food – quality and quantity. We all had different things to eat and shared a bottle of the excellent house white. Special mention for the white chocolate cheesecake! The service was warm and friendly. We had a good table - a banquette by the window. We could hear ourselves speak.
