Blending tradition with contemporary tweaks, Busaba Eathai Soho is a bustling Thai eatery serving eclectic dishes. An intimate, dark-wooded interior offers canteen-style long tables, creating a social atmosphere for dinner or cocktails.
Flavoursome delicacies from across Thailand are served on the Busaba Eathai menu. Aromatic noodle soups include tofu and glass noodle, made with fresh oyster and wood ear mushrooms, while celebrated pad thais pack in smoked chicken, king prawn and shiitake. Mouth-watering curries are rich in colour and perfectly spiced, with the likes of banana peppers, Thai aubergine and bamboo shoots. For those after a quick bite, there are small sharing plates of specials such as Thai tacos, chicken lollipops, and soft shell crab.
Sweet treats on the dessert menu at Busaba Eathai London include exotic flavours like pandan roll with coconut ice cream, passionfruit mousse, rich banana fritters and gluten-free crème brûlée. There are Thai beers and spirits, colourful juices, as well as signature cocktails made with exciting additions like rice tea, mango lassi and mulled lemongrass wine.
Brilliantly versatile and offering a great selection of exotic flavours, Busaba Eathai Soho is 7 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

Portions are quite small for the price, but tasty. Service moderate- ordered a drink and it didn't come. Slow to collect the bill. Friendly staff. Very loud and not possible to talk to people unless sitting next to them.

Great food but poor service.

The waiter could not have cared less that we were there. He was almost rude that we even asked him for anything, was inattentive, barely said anything to us, and didn't smile once.

The food was not bad but I was surprised that Busaba Eathai Soho does not propose any dessert. The atmosphere is terribly exhausting, this restaurant is far too noisy, and we cannot hear each other.
Moreover, the policy is a bit rigid. It seems that it is too profitability oriented at the expense of the customer comfort. We felt the pressure: the customer has to sit, order, eat (anyway, you cannot speak because you will not be heard because of the noise), pay and go out. I booked online for a group of 7 people before coming and I was the first to arrive, the other having been delayed. Although my table was ready, I had to wait for 15 minutes before having the right to sit. Apparently, we are not allowed to sit until the whole group arrives. The staff seemed to be worried that some of the 7 people will not come and kept asking if we were waiting for more people. At the end, the 7 people arrived (and I was confident about it). I had the impression that the staff expected all the people to order to arrive and to order at the same time but you should know that it is natural, when so many people rally, that some of them are delayed. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience at all and I will neither come back nor recommend the restaurant.

Amazing food, so tasty and really fresh!
The only downside was the service, could have been with a smile or more polite. I will be going back for the food.
