My wife and I have been fans of Busaba for a long time but unfortunately the standards have dropped over the last 9 months. So much so that we will no longer eat in the Kingston branch when we are there.
That is why we went to Chelsea on Sunday.
Again, unfortunately, things were not entirely up to standard, albeit, better than Kingston !
Our mains were good, Pad Kwetio and Southern Seafood and the Tamarind wings were spectacular ( I also adore Wing sticks but they have been taken off the menu ).
One of our all time favourites is the Calamari of which we have a portion each. Here lies the problem. They were either over cooked or stale as in not cooked fresh and whilst edible, not up to normal standards.

They were great at responding to emails and changed my booking time promptly . Good atmosphere . Varied menu .
The Service let them down and portion sizes . We waited a long time at each stage to be served , the food took forever . The rice was cold . Three girls eating who don't regularly see each other so we didn't complain or comment as we were busy having a good time . The waitress did help me choose dishes . No reason for rife to be cold as main dish was not and it was on same plate . I had specials and was happy with food but my friends were not happy with jungle curry or seafood option . Huge slices of onions in both . My only complaint on food was amount of beef in my special dish and amount of crab in special starter .
Not go back .
