We are a family of 6 visiting for my daughters birthday. We booked but when we arrived at 7:30pm it seemed to be a surprise.
As I write we have been waiting for our food for 1 hour and 6 minutes.
The waitress and manager came to explain a minute ago that the kitchen was struggling with the volume of orders. The food seemed to come in no particular order in the respect that the table next to us with a family of 5 sat down 20 minutes after we arrived and are currently finishing their main courses. It's like having a full restaurant is a surprise.
Update: the starters arrived after 1 hour 13 minutes.
The worst experience in a restaurant I have had in years. The water we asked for never arrived.

Terrible from start to finish, poor service no attention to customer basic needs. No or poor presentation of the dishes served. Left with money on the table as no one attended for 10mn after servir the bill not even on a plate or inside a book. Terrible! Food tasted ok but without the presentation it felt like going to a mates pad.

i was invited to a Showcase evening for the new menu. This is a major improvement on what was already a great choice. Prices are creeping upwards but they are everywhere. Music was just about bearable and any louder it would be a pain.

Regular visitors and have always enjoyed all the food but this evening was disappointing. Some of best dishes (eg tamarind fish) taken off the menu and the new version of the previously amazing salmon dish was very disappointing. The fish was very salty, broken into lumps rather than the usual delicious whole fillet, very meagre salad (used to be a generous serving) with it and coconut rice replaced by jasmine rice and a stodgy roti, so way too much carbohydrate and not enough salad. Why is the salmon suddenly so salty? Also served on a strange tray rather than a plate. All four of us had the same experience and will not be ordering this dish again. As it used to be our favourite we will not be coming as often now.

Good starters. Shocking main course. The chicken curry was a green soup with grizzly pieces of tough chicken. Poor service and an experience not to be repeated.

service lacklustre, whole place felt tired and certainly not Thai. My duck breast was tough as boots and fatty

Everything was fine except for the food. The quality has deteriorated markedly in the last few years. The vegetable curry was very poor. The sauce was like dishwater without flavour and texture. It was as if an amateur cooked it. The beef curry was poorly presented and looked very on appetising although it tasteed good. The only dish that was has remained consistently good is the squid.

Came here via the London Restaurant Festival deal. Food was lovely except for having our main served at the same time as our starter which was strange, my friend's chicken had a piece that wasn't thoroughly cooked through and my stir fry had only 4 prawns which weren't king prawns either I don't think! When we mentioned this we were offered a complimentary dessert which was a nice touch. The staff were great and didn't make us feel we were being fussy. I would like to give it one more try but maybe not order from the set menu.

First the restaurant didn't know that we reserved a table and then had no knowledge of the deal we booked through Bookatable. Had to show the booking confirmation and still no one knew what it was about. The staff and manager were kind enough to sort it out in the end though.
Good food, great service and good value for money.
