Lovely ambience, great food, friendly staff. My wife and I shared several tapas starters, all delicious. The Duck and Monkfish mains were excellent. All round great meal.

Inspired by the rustic dishes and bold flavours of the Mediterranean, Burley Manor and its wood-fired kitchen produce food that is from the heart, to be enjoyed together in relaxed, spectacular surroundings.

Advocates of the slow food movement, time is spent finding the finest produce from as close to the restaurant as possible. Making the most of its New Forest location, ingredients on the Burley Manor menu are sourced from forest to coast using the unrivalled choice of local suppliers, before the traditional wood-fired oven brings out the best in them.

Guests can also enjoy a unique, tailored Mediterranean feast on the chef’s table in the Butler’s Pantry whilst watching their dishes cooking in the wood-fired oven. Chat away with the chefs, enjoy a glass of champagne and sample an array of different dishes from the region of your choice as they come straight from oven to table. Served in the cosy pantry with 2 bench seat, the price includes a bottle of champagne for the table, and a 3-course regional Mediterranean feast for between 6 and 8 people.

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, Burley Manor in Hampshire is just 12 minutes’ drive from Ringwood.

No staff around to welcome us on arrival. We spoke to the Bar man and waited another 1/2 hour before anyone came to give us a menu. Food slow arriving due to a wedding. However, could not fault the food. Very good and will return.

The room we were in was excellent and very comfortable. The cakes and scones in the afternoon tea were delicious but the sandwiches were not so good. They were too cold and tasteless.

Very good love the tapas. Some confusion regarding the loyalty card though

The food was excellent, restaurant lovely and the service friendly. It is a testament to the place that they managed to make it comfortable on one of the hottest days of the year. The waiting staff were a little inexperienced and although friendly and eager to please lacked the polish and knowlege that such a place deserves eg they should be actively inquiring do you want the wine list and able to advise on choices or fetch a sommelier. We also asked if a pork sharing dish was enough to share between three and the waitress was so hesitant that we decided not to go ahead, in the event we shared between two and it was far too much. A simple description of portion size would have helped. I'm being uber picky here though, we'd definitely come again and definitely recommend the restaurant to friends.
