We attended the Gin tasting with Cream Tea event. It was an excellent afternoon. James who ran the Gin tasting was knowledgeable and very interesting. The Cream Tea was excellent. A superb range of sandwiches, and cakes plus scones. Very generous portions as well.

Inspired by the rustic dishes and bold flavours of the Mediterranean, Burley Manor and its wood-fired kitchen produce food that is from the heart, to be enjoyed together in relaxed, spectacular surroundings.

Advocates of the slow food movement, time is spent finding the finest produce from as close to the restaurant as possible. Making the most of its New Forest location, ingredients on the Burley Manor menu are sourced from forest to coast using the unrivalled choice of local suppliers, before the traditional wood-fired oven brings out the best in them.

Guests can also enjoy a unique, tailored Mediterranean feast on the chef’s table in the Butler’s Pantry whilst watching their dishes cooking in the wood-fired oven. Chat away with the chefs, enjoy a glass of champagne and sample an array of different dishes from the region of your choice as they come straight from oven to table. Served in the cosy pantry with 2 bench seat, the price includes a bottle of champagne for the table, and a 3-course regional Mediterranean feast for between 6 and 8 people.

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, Burley Manor in Hampshire is just 12 minutes’ drive from Ringwood.

We visited for afternoon tea. Located in the bar/lounge area which was ok for afternoon tea. The food was very nice and very well presented. I would suggest maybe a couple of more finger sandwiches and one less cake/sweet would have been a more balanced serving, but what was served was very tasty. The choice of music behind the bar was quite annoying and did not fit with the ambience at all. Background classical/piano/easy listening music would be much more appropriate. We did mention this at the time but did not get any response.

For our wedding anniversary my husband and I decided to treat ourselves for afternoon tea and decided on Burley Manor. The staff were friendly and the cakes were Devine. We sat in the lounge, which made it a lovely relaxing experience. As Burley is dog friendly, our two dogs were welcomed warmly.

Afternoon Tapas and Prosecco, I bought this as a birthday treat for my best friend. Not the first time I have been but once again a lovely experience. We had the weather today, we were able to sit on the Terrace overlooking the deer park. The Tapas were truly delicious as were the little cakes.
Burley Manor is my Favourite Hotel (I was married there 6 years ago) and everytime I return its like I have come home.
