With views out over Hyde Park and the gardens of Kensington Palace, Brunello is a beautiful restaurant in the Baglioni Hotel. Filled with ornate 1950's style, luxurious Italian recipes and afternoon teas are artfully crafted, while the bar is the perfect setting to enjoy old-time Italian cocktails and fine wines.
The Brunello menu is overseen by chef Alberto Rossetti, and features an irresistible selection of signature dishes. Black truffle risotto is served with 24-month aged parmesan, while Sicilian-style chicken with aubergine, pine nuts and raisin caponata is a great example of simple, gourmet flavours. For those looking for laid-back, light options, the bar menu offers up small plates of imported cold cuts and cheese, as well as nibbles like smoked salmon with focaccia bread and fresh cream cheese.
Brunello in Kensington offers afternoon teas with unique Italian twists, including sweet treats like cannoli Siciliani filled with ricotta cheese and chocolate chips, and glasses of prosecco and champagne. A selection of fine wines and Italian cocktails are also served up at the bar.
Also serving gourmet kids' menus, Brunello is a wonderful venue to celebrate special occasions. High Street Kensington Rail Station is just an 8-minute walk away.

Very good pre-theatre meal from the somewhat limited pre-theatre menu. Lovely ambiance, good size portions and reasonable price for a two course meal. I would think it could get quite expensive if you were to choose a-la-carte. The only negative point was the Tiramisu was still frozen in the middle. Not something I'd expect from a restuarant of this class. The waiter was very good and offered a replacement and gave us free tea/coffee.

We had a very good early dinner before going to a Prom. The dining room is elegant and comfortable. The set menu was varied and the food was delicious, especially the risotto and the steak. Service was exceptional, attentive and kind. We generally dine at one of the restaurants in the Albert Hall, but they were fully booked. We chose Brunello for proximity, but we'll be going back next year because we enjoyed it there.

Lovely staff. Cocktails were fabulous. Food was fine, nothing exceptional but the ambience, staff and cocktail list ensure a very pleasurable evening.

Really not good. Classic hotel restaurant. Big room mostly empty lacking atmosphere. Food quality not good. Strange amuse Bouch to start lack of seasoning generally and lasagne clearly taken from fridge and warmed through not very thoroughly. Would never return.

We have always wanted to dine here,we were very disappointed, the minestrone soup had no taste and didn’t resemble minestrone soup as we know it,we then had veal Milanese, which was very dry,we left half of it,we didn’t bother with dessert,my husband had two glasses of wine which at£19-50a glass we thought exspensive, the restaurant itself looked lovely, and the staff were very attentive and pleasant,we don’t think we would go again,or recommend it to anyone.
