A lovely afternoon tea experience at Brumus. The staff were welcoming, friendly, relaxed yet very professional. They seated my mum and I in a lovely secluded spot rather than bunching all of the guests together. The food and drink were delicious and extra sandwiches were offered free of charge which I always see as a big tick when having an afternoon tea as otherwise it feels too sweet heavy. The price was very reasonable when compared with other afternoons teas in London at stylish venues. We really enjoyed our afternoon. Thanks Brumus - we'll be back!

We had a very nice time. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. Our only criticism was of the cakes/ pastries. The lurid green cream was not very appetising. The macaroon was delicious but the other cakes weren’t very nice. We all ( 5 of us) felt this to be the case. It would also have been nice to have been offered a few more sandwiches ( as happens at other places e.g. the Ritz). However, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend Brummus as a very nice place to take afternoon tea.

We visited London over the Christmas holiday and wanted to experience a "high tea." We showed up with 10 in our party and no reservation - the staff happily accommodated us. We enjoyed our high tea and the staff was great. The decor is also amazing. We had a great time and highly recommend!

We had a fabulous afternoon tea , celebrating a friends birthday. Cannot fault anything from the food to the service. The sandwiches were very fresh, the scones stayed warm and the cakes were varied and delicious. The staff were attentive and made the afternoon very special.

Had a breakfast here last week, unfortunately I have to say the service was not attentive. Because we needed to ssk for some bread after main plates were served. Normally breads come first with butter. i was a bit disappointed.

I use Brumus often for business lunches since the ambiance is suitable for one on one conversations - low restaurant noise so a quietly speaking interlucutor can be heard - and a competitively priced three course menu served quickly and without undue fuss. The menu we chose was good, though in my case the soup could have been slightly hotter (in temperature). So, once again, a satisfactory occasion.
