Brumus is one of my favourite restaurants in London, and the one I invariably recommend to friends visiting London. The ambience, menu, quality of food and service are all first-rate. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous, without being at all intrusive.

I use Brumus often for business lunches since the ambiance is suitable for one on one conversations - low restaurant noise so a quietly speaking interlucutor can be heard - and a competitively priced three course menu served quickly and without undue fuss. The menu we chose was good, though in my case the soup could have been slightly hotter (in temperature). So, once again, a satisfactory occasion.

Lovely scones and cakes. Sandwiches were average but we had a generous second helping and staff were very accommodating to my friends egg allergy.

Excellent in every way. Lovely round table in the window. Delicious tea. Efficient, obliging and charming staff. Adore the decoration. Loved my dog chair. I was a Dachshund!! Beautiful setting. Just a lovely birthday tea! Thank you.

Visited for Afternoon Tea to celebrate my mum's birthday. The service was impeccable, friendly staff who allowed us to enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea but ensured we had everything we needed. We were seated at a lovely corner table in the window. The coffees and tea were lovely, although it wasn't made clear than any additional drinks after the 1st one weren't included in the overall afternoon tea price. Menu read like unlimited tea/coffee. However, the food as part of the afternoon tea was all lovely and you received a large portion for the price (4 scones between 2!) so definitely good value for money.
