Unfortunately they weren't ready when we arrived and didn't realised I had booked champagne afternoon tea. After waiting for the confusion to be sorted the afternoon Tea arrived, luckily we weren't too hungry because the portion sizes were small. After asking for our tea it was served in teapots that needed a good clean to remove the stained spout, after another reminder to the server the champagne was served. No asked if everything was to our liking and once finished we even had to go and find someone to pay the bill, we could have easily walked out without paying! A service charge was added to the bill which I questioned because I can't say there was much of a service to be told it had to be paid!!

I booked this restaurant for what I thought would be a great dining experience for my 16 year old granddaughter I thought that it would be good service good food good value and good location however only the location was true the food, service and value was if not my worst experience certainly among the bottom of the list. Would not recommend this restaurant

Maitre D was very miserable. Starters and main course were satisfactory. Ordered creme brûlé, waiter said he thought they didn't have any, so I said if you haven't got it I will have the banoffee, they didn't have that either, very disappointing, as we were there at 2 in the afternoon, not late at night.
When using the toilet, I found out when it was too late that there wasn't any toilet paper. For an establishment like Browns in Windsor I think this is an absolute disgrace.
I certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant to any friends & definitely will not be going back.
I was there celebrating my birthday, the experience spoilt my day.

Waitress was fantastic and food was brilliant. Unfortunately the restaurant was uncomfortabley hot. We asked for a/c to be switched on as a unit was above us but we were told it was broken. Such a shame as food was lovely but we were very uncomfortable as so hot.

Booking was very easy.. I had to alter my booking which was quite easy.... Staff were very friendly and very good... food was lovely.. prawn cocktails were full of prawns and nicely presented.. I had fish and chips for the main and my daughter had the mussels.. both were nicely cooked and very tasty.. I had a very nice non alcoholic cocktail.. If the weather is nice .. eat outside.. lovely view of the river

The service was slow and food was expensive for the quality we received

Food wasn't great at all. Had a lamp rump and there was more fat than meat. The girl who serviced our table was very good. But not planning on having food there again!!

Arrived for 2pm as I called earlier and was told it was OK to come at 2pm for afternoon tea. On arrival another lady told us can't have afternoon tea until 2.30pm even though we called earlier. Lady was quite rude showed us to a very small table shoved next to a large round table with a family dining. There was no room to move no one attended to us and we felt uncomfortable so we got up and left . The lady who sat us down saw us leave but didn't come and ask why just let us walk out. Ruined my mums afternoon tea for her birthday very disappointed and angry at attitude of staff member.
