Set in a thriving part of London’s Docklands, Browns Brasserie & Bar - West India Quay serves tasty European-inspired cuisine and refreshing cocktails in a lively, welcoming environment. Surrounded by a combination of historical & modern architecture, the Browns building was formerly a 19th-century sugar warehouse, and boasts a seating area overlooking the dock.

Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous flavours include roasted lamb with potatoes & minted peas, Browns’ signature fish pie, and decadent salted caramel profiteroles. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.
Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, and smoothies. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

The restaurant was fab, a quaint little place located at west India quay, over looking the water.

Had afternoon tea for a party of eight. Nice sandwiches. Delicious cakes at a very reasonable price. Good service.

I took my girlfriends for afternoon tea to celebrate one of their 50th birthday.
Browns is a gorgeous, relaxed restaurant with soothing background music. We loved the decor.
The value on our champagne afternoon tea was good and reasonable. The champagne was lovely so we had to have more.
The service was lovely and our waiter was very attentive.
Their could have been more of a choice on the sandwiches (no chicken) :-(
But the cakes and scones was scrumptious especially the red velvet cake which we should have ordered more of but felt a little greedy, lol...

Service was swift and cheerful. The food is ok. The current offer of two mains and a bottle of wine was good value.

Very quick service. Starter was Brie melted into a pot with toasted breadsticks, it tasted like liquid dairy leek cheese served with soggy breadsticks. We asked for more bread, which they bought in the form of 2 soggy strips and charged
75p for! They didn't say there would be a charge at the table. My food was cold, soggy onion rings and chips, it was replaced but not until my husband had eaten his.
