Very friendly and prompt service. Food was good and tasty. Venue was very noisy and crowded even at 5.30 pm making conversation difficult. Was a bit overheated.

An incredible experience from start to finish. The front of house staff welcomed us and asked us to wait in the bar while our table was ready as we were a little early. Then they took us to our booth table (for 6) and we were met by a fantastic waiter (Peter) who gave us our menus while and then he introduced us to our server for the evening - Alex. He was charming and helpful and interested and everything you want from a waiter. The food was outstanding We had 3 sharing Camembert and then some had burgers and pork belly and a pie. Every single morsel was just delicious. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone and will return.

The booking for four was made approximately 4 weeks in advance for a 70th Birthday celebration at 6-30 pm on Wednesday 7th November. On arrival the staff were very friendly and immediately escorted us to our table. Our waiter was a South African named Rico, who made us very welcome, and could not have done more for us. After introducing himself, one of the first questions he asked was, "are you going to the Theatre". I can only assume the reasoning behind the question was, are you in a hurry to leave. We certainly were in no hurry to leave, the menu was very good, Rico took the time to explain any questions we asked concerning the dishes listed and was faultless in his service. Our meal and service was excellent, and we enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.

Great service and pleasant surroundings. I had the mussels and fries a my main and found the portion rather small and the white wine "broth a little bland", and I was surprised that hand wipes or finger bowls were not supplied.
