In the heart of one of London’s most vibrant areas, surrounded by theatres, galleries and shops, Browns Brasserie & Bar – Covent Garden serves a mouth-watering variety of British & European-inspired dishes. Housed in a converted building which was previously the Westminster County Court, Browns also offers pre- and post-theatre suppers.
Spanning from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, the Browns menu offers all-day brasserie dining. Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.
Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, and smoothies. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.
Browns Brasserie & Bar - Covent Garden is just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

Booked table couple of days before, on arrival we were a little early, they told us to wait in the bar, which was fine. Before we walked to the bar they had just had a cancellation and we were seated. Service efficiently we always have their Fish Pie, its always so good. A good evening to finish our day off in London.

We were little early for our booking so were asked to wait until the booked time. This was OK and we had a drink at the bar. When we reached our table our order was taken very promptly and the food arrived quickly. Overall, the service and food were up to the usual Brown's standard ie good.

Very friendly and prompt service.
Food was good and tasty.
Venue was very noisy and crowded even at 5.30 pm making conversation difficult. Was a bit overheated.

An incredible experience from start to finish. The front of house staff welcomed us and asked us to wait in the bar while our table was ready as we were a little early. Then they took us to our booth table (for 6) and we were met by a fantastic waiter (Peter) who gave us our menus while and then he introduced us to our server for the evening - Alex. He was charming and helpful and interested and everything you want from a waiter.
The food was outstanding We had 3 sharing Camembert and then some had burgers and pork belly and a pie. Every single morsel was just delicious. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone and will return.

The booking for four was made approximately 4 weeks in advance for a 70th Birthday celebration at 6-30 pm on Wednesday 7th November. On arrival the staff were very friendly and immediately escorted us to our table. Our waiter was a South African named Rico, who made us very welcome, and could not have done more for us. After introducing himself, one of the first questions he asked was, "are you going to the Theatre". I can only assume the reasoning behind the question was, are you in a hurry to leave. We certainly were in no hurry to leave, the menu was very good, Rico took the time to explain any questions we asked concerning the dishes listed and was faultless in his service. Our meal and service was excellent, and we enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.
