In the heart of one of London’s most vibrant areas, surrounded by theatres, galleries and shops, Browns Brasserie & Bar – Covent Garden serves a mouth-watering variety of British & European-inspired dishes. Housed in a converted building which was previously the Westminster County Court, Browns also offers pre- and post-theatre suppers.

Spanning from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, the Browns menu offers all-day brasserie dining. Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.

Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, and smoothies. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

Browns Brasserie & Bar - Covent Garden is just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

Sunday evening so pretty quiet but still a nice ambience. The food was fabulous especially the scallop starter dish which was divine.

Lovely ambiance ...crab starter excellent. Roast sent back because it was cold but very nice when the hot meal arrived. Delicious Crumble pudding but be warned its enough for 2 people!

Our experience was fabulous. Our waiter Alex was brilliant, knowledgable, helpful and very polite. Our service was prompt and the food was extremely fresh and delicious. Thank you to Browns Brasserie staff for a fantastic christmas celebration

Brilliant, atmosphere was casual but beautiful. Despite being a little late, we were unable to contact the restaurant directly but had to go to a central point who said our table would be held for 10 minutes - which was a little worrying as we were on foot. However, it did not seem to be a problem once we arrived. Our waiter was helpful, professional and friendly and being my wife's birthday, made the day extra special.

Food & service good but the environment was very noisy making conversation difficult

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Drinks were excessively priced. A 250ml glass of house red at £7.50, for example.
