The Garden Restaurant at Bromley Court serves flavour-packed European food within an elegant hotel built in 1801. Classic afternoon teas are also served, with a cocktail bar and terrace further adding to the charm.
From the menu, sample roast breast of chicken with grain mustard cream sauce, or seared ox tongue with woodland mushroom and Madeira jus. Amongst the fish dishes, enjoy salmon and dill fishcakes, or for a vegetarian option, try steamed herb pancake filled with roast butternut squash and served with pesto and rocket.
Tempting desserts at the Bromley Court Hotel include vanilla pods cheesecake with chocolate sauce and strawberry ice cream, and a chocolate and coconut parfait with Malibu and pineapple compote. Housed in the hotel’s former library, classic cocktails are served in the bar, whilst the south-facing terrace offers a sunny spot for al fresco dining.

I had an excellent experience at the Bromley Court Garden restaurant, when you arrive you see this very impressive building surrounded by trees and beautiful gardens. Inside is as impressive as the outside, beautiful fireplaces and unique chandeliers and very spacious. I had the most delicious meals ever from the braised lamb chunk with thyme jus that fell off the bone, to the Barbary duck breast with red wine and blackberry jus, a really juicy beef burger with lovely crunchy and soft in the middle chips, the beer battered Scottish cod was so lovely and crunchy so fresh... The puddings were out of this world from the chocolate marquise with white chocolate mouse which every time I go back to the restaurant I wish is going to be on the menu to the Eaton mess and the most delicious cheesecake. The staff were very welcoming, friendly ,efficient and accommodating to your every need especially as I have certain allergies. I will definitely recommend it to my business associates, customers, family and friends. I can’t wait to visit again! I will be making a booking for an afternoon tea soon with my grandchildren at half term as I promised them already and can’t wait for us all to have those beautiful deserts again. I would like to say thank you very much to all staff but especially to Selina and Andrew for been so lovely helpful and so accommodating. Thank you Bromley Court for a lovely memorable experience.

I was very disappointed in the Afternoon Tea that I recently had at Bromley Court Hotel. The selection of sandwiches was poor, the scones were very small, and only 1 little pot of jam and a small post of cream (which I have bought over the counter from Asda before) for 3 of us. The cakes were also a poor selection. 1 piece each the size of a matchbox, of a jam like crumble based finger cake, 1 tiny macaroon and 1 piece of plain sponge that couldn't have been cut any smaller. There were 3 selections of tea, English Breakfast, Earl Grey and Green Tea. No fruit or lemon/ginger etc. The service was poor, and we had to get up to find some help 3 times as there were no wait staff in the restaurant. I think it was a poor service for the price

Pleasant environment for afternoon tea. Service was acceptable in this difficult time of social distancing. The actually tea was disappointing, not special in any way. The ham sandwich had what appeared to be tiny bones in and the scones were not exceptional. The cakes although they were fresh, did not inspire! At the time I did not complain because the friend I was treating had recommended the venue.
