Building impressive with a good roomy car park. Had to wait for table with a few others also. Shown to a quiiet table but my friend said her seat was uncomfortable, a strange 'double' chair she couldn't move up to the table.
Service was excellent, waiter/waitress attentive without being a nuisance.
Food was a disappointment, we ordered a seafood puff pastry dish with veg and salute potatoes. The carrots were just a little too hard to be described as crisp, the other veg and potatoes were lovely but the pie let it all down. Just wasn't as good as it sounded, poor content, not a very filling dish at all, shame as everything else fine.

We enjoyed the chicken served Friday the 10th and the sweets were delicious. Very easy to book on the net, got the day and the time I required, we both enjoyed the experience.

Was really good, staff greater us in a friendly manner, food was hot and service was very quick, staff serving were polite professional and knew their stuff

    Nice enough pub
Food was fine, not the best sunday dinner - it was luke warm, the yourkshire pudding was more like a yorkshire pancake and they only gave a small amount of meat, the potatoes were re-heated roast potatoes, the stuffing was from a packet. I was hungry, so I appreciated enough
The service was good enough, not great e.g. we had a pot of tea afterward, which was made and left on the counter. One of the bar women/waitresses walked past and said to us "your tea is by there, just so you know", so we got up and fetched it.

Sort of ok. They had run out of quite a lot of food on the menu. I would just say average.

Good choices on the menu. Good value for money. Service was very professional and efficient. Gluten free and vegetarian dishes very clearly marked on the menu. Would recommend a visit. Car park can get quite busy so visit early if you can.

A warm welcome, great service and lovely fish and chips enjoyed by the 4 of us.

There was little point in reserving a table as other people had settled themselves at the one allocated to us. Was told they'd run out of pork roasts and then on choosing a chicken roast instead was informed, after placing the order, that they'd served the last portion of that too so had to go with a quick decision 2nd on. Service very slow and one waitress very monotone and without facial expression, which made her appear dead miserable.

We chose from the lunch time menu. Enjoyed our meal that was reasonably priced, in the nice surroundings of the front room part of the restaurant.
