The worst meal we have had in a long time. The chicken was gelatinous and looked grey and unappetising, the vegatable base was el dente to the point of being almost uncooked at all. It was tasteless and most of it was returned only partly sampled. On the other hand, your bistros in Marlow and lymington are superb and we have always had good experiences at both - which is why we decided to try henley this time round. What a pity.

I felt that the mash was powdered and that the seafood marmite was from a freezer pack.I guess I have been spoilt elsewhere! Probably won't return.

some of our meals were good, but several were below standard. Presentataion of food was very bad.The seating area at rear is souless and dirty - sited outside the loos. Staff pleasant but scruffy and unprofessional. Seems to have lost it's appeal.

The waiter couldn't speak English very well, so he couldn't reassure me about the dish I was asking about & I got the incorrect ice cream with my dessert. I had a tajine that wasn't cooked in a tajine & didn't include all the ingredients described on the menu! On previous occassions we've enjoyed the food but now the restaurant seems to be taking short cuts.
