A relaxed all-day brasserie in one of the city's most exclusive hotels, Brasserie Abode Manchester showcases brunch favourites, classic dishes and cocktails in a Grade II-listed former textile factory.
The all-day Abode Brasserie menu features timeless classics, whilst Sunday lunch is overflowing with trimmings. For brunch, try the crushed avocado and poached egg on sourdough, stay for a lunch of garlic crevettes and fries, or savour oysters and cocktails for dinner.
Just 3 minutes' walk from Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station and 5 minutes from Piccadilly Gardens, ABode Manchester is a popular destination for dining in this lively area of the city.

Food and decor excellent. However, thumping beat of music from the bar made it difficult to hold a conversation. Service was very attentive but unfortunately incompetent, drinks, sides, coffees never arrived. Probably won't return.

Lovely food - we tried the taster menu of five items. We had a disaster with one of the courses (daube of beef) which was full of gristle but the maitre de went to a lot of trouble to explain what had gone wrong. The serving staff are non-English speakers and are quite hard to understand, and who equally didn't understand my complaint. HOWEVER! Diners beware - check the small print on the taster menu, advertised with wine, as we got hit for an additional bill for 3 quid per glass of wine for each course - each when we were led to understand the wine was included!
Otherwise a very pleasant experience and highly recommended for business lunching/dining.
