A relaxed all-day brasserie in one of the city's most exclusive hotels, Brasserie Abode showcases brunch favourites, classic dishes and cocktails on the 5th floor of Abode Chester, with fantastic views over Chester Racecourse and the surrounding Welsh hills and countryside.

The all-day Abode Brasserie menu features timeless classics, whilst Sunday lunch is overflowing with trimmings. For brunch, try the crushed avocado and poached egg on sourdough, stay for a lunch of garlic crevettes and fries, or savour oysters and cocktails in the evening.

Afternoon tea is available in the bar at Abode and includes a selection of scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam, savouries, sandwiches and pastries, served with a choice of teas or coffees.

Brasserie Abode is found close to the city centre, just a 5-minute drive from Chester Rail Station.

    A lovely welcoming atmosphere. Classic starter of prawn cocktail, followed by rib eye steak now that was delicious and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are not overly generous and my partner left feeling hungry, the salmon stater was disappointing, the salmon sliced so finely you could see the plate through it. The lamb cutlets I am informed tasted lovely but for a grown man there simply was not enough food.

    Food was nice. Unfortunately the service was poor. They seemed to be understaffed but wouldn’t admit it. Was made to wait long periods before being approached for service. Shame since really nice atmosphere and location.
