A lovely welcoming atmosphere. Classic starter of prawn cocktail, followed by rib eye steak now that was delicious and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are not overly generous and my partner left feeling hungry, the salmon stater was disappointing, the salmon sliced so finely you could see the plate through it. The lamb cutlets I am informed tasted lovely but for a grown man there simply was not enough food.

Food was nice. Unfortunately the service was poor. They seemed to be understaffed but wouldn’t admit it. Was made to wait long periods before being approached for service. Shame since really nice atmosphere and location.
