Part of The Good Pub Guide's Pub Group of The Year 2016, Bourne Valley Inn offers a trusty repertoire of British recipes which have earned it an AA Rosette. Enjoy the lush garden dotted with whitewashed picnic benches when weather permits, or the cosy country lodge-style dining room.

Presenting rich, natural ingredients sourced from the neighbouring countryside, Bourne Valley Inn sources seasonal goods from local farms, fishmongers and estates. Encircled by lakes and rivers and serving up home-smoked mackerel and salmon, Bourne Valley’s speciality fish dishes include trout fillet with chorizo and brown shrimp, or smoked haddock and salmon fishcake with baby spinach, with a top-quality grill menu also on offer.

With treats stored under glistening glass domes, the cake counter at Bourne Valley café is piled high with tempting treats. Traditional Sunday roasts are a weekly staple, and a varied menu and relaxed atmosphere make Bourne Valley near Andover a family favourite.

Also home to a spacious barn private dining area, Bourne Valley is a 14-minute drive from central Andover.

I was very pleased with my experience at the Bourne Valley Inn, the food was incredible, the service very good. The food did take a long time, however it was lunchtime on Father's Day so cannot be surprised! The only thing I didn't like was the toasted bread with the oil...thought it was very strange and was quite burnt around the edges!

Always love going to eat and drink at BVI. The staff and atmosphere are great. Also, the takeaway menu is a nice addition and they could have a menu just for pies, they're excellent!

A friendly and quietly efficient reception and a tasty meal in relaxed surroundings; what more could we ask?

Just wanted a chill out lunch time meal, couldn't have picked a better place to eat. One thing not happy with. This service charge. If meeting and ovals experience is what l am happy with. A tip will always be given. You don't need this at bottom of bill.

Delicious food, nice quiet atmosphere and attentive staff.

Food took a little while longer to come out than expected, but when it did, wow! Excellent presentation, rich flavour and generous portion sizes.

    I'll be back!

My meal of lobster cocktail and belly pork with scallops was absolutely heaven . The mix of flavours and the presentation was sublime. I have dined on several occasions over the last two and half years since my husband relocated down near you for work and the menu has just got better and better. The wine menu whilst a little expensive is delicious and the wine on Saturday was new to me but a marvellous alternative to my,old favourite of a Marlborough Sauvignon . As a side comment the young female staff dealt with a particularly tricky situation in the bar with four locals who had far too much to drink and thought they were something special. It could have become very nasty but with the support of the manager it was diffused with the least dysfunction. I have to say I think the young man who started to roll a cigarette on the deli counter should be seriously reprimanded if he is known to the staff or at the least given a warning about his behaviour, but well done everyone for the handling of potentially unpleasant situation.
