Really good value on the set menu, food was delicious and excellent service. We went before a show which worked out well as a short walk to the Lyceum.

Pretty establishment, lovely atmosphere and great service. We had the free flowing afternoon tea which was delicious and great value. Our waitress Fabiana was lovely and kept us topped up during our 1.5hr tea. Highly recommended

On arrival, the restaurant didn’t have record of the booking despite my having received an email confirmation from Bookatable. However, we were easily accommodated and service was good. My son ate from the kids eat free menu. He would have liked a larger portion but did find the carbonara tasty. I had the french onion soup which was just perfect, and a salad which was good though possibly a little heavy on the honey. Turnaround of ordering and food was quick and all done within an hour, so perfect for a pre-theatre meal.

I've been to Boulevard Brasserie several times and love the cosy ambience. The food and drink are always excellent. The last couple of times I've had some issues about the set menu (3 course plus a kir royale for £22 - excellent value!). I prefer Aperol Spritz, which is actually cheaper, so I asked them to substitute it for the kir royale. The response was a flat negative. When I asked why, seeing as the Aperol is cheaper, they just kept saying the deal is kir royale. It felt very "computer says no!". The first waitress did agree to ask a manager. Then the second one insisted it was not possible so we gave up and ordered an Aperol anyway. Later, the first waitress said it had been agreed, and we were very grateful to her for sorting it out. But the issue did spoil the experience a bit. The previous time, the same thing happened, but before that they were always very happy to substitute - as it is a cheaper drink it shouldn't be a problem, surely? Also, some of the staff are very unsmiley which made us feel a bit less welcome. I think it was just their personal style, they didn't mean to be unwelcoming. But a smile would be nice! Otherwise, the service was attentive and helpful, so I wouldn't say it was a bad service.

The Food was lovely and good value for money. One of the people I was with had special dietary needs and they went out of the way to accommodate them and they were happy for us to sit and chat for hours. Really good experience.
