Delicious food, very slow to bring the operative drinks. Asked several times. Good when they came, but therefore stopped us ordering a third round of drinks!

We thought it was value for money The food was of good quality and taste The staff were professional and level of service was good Only downside was ventilation needed to be better to take the smell of food away

We had a fantastic set menu - all cooked really well and tasty. Service was excellent as well. However, it was let down at the end of the meal by 4 lukewarm coffees which we had to send back. Then the replacement coffees were only marginally better and were also sent back. It seemed the staff member behind the bar area who made the coffees was not up to the standard of the cooking in the kitchen. Also, I originally booked for 2 people but then needed to change it. So I cancelled that and did a new booking for 4 people. My booking was done at 11:00 in the morning but when I got to the restaurant in the evening they still had the original booking until I told them the situation and they updated their system. This could have been a problem at a busy time.

The staff were attentive and the service was excellent. We booked the £25 each menu offer which had a great range of dishes to choose from. The food was delicious and we were served without feeling rushed. We observed the serving team sort out dinner for a couple who were running late for the theatre - they accommodated everything smoothly. The facilities were also spotless and possibly the best in London for cleanliness.
