With the feel of a rustic Italian cottage, Bottega Prelibato is a traditional slice of the Mediterranean in Shoreditch. Freshly-made Italian delicacies are served up, while the art gallery space inside showcases the talents of local artists.

The Bottega Prelibato menu is rich in seasonal Italian recipes made with the finest ingredients sourced from local markets. Beautifully presented starters include courgette flowers filled with anchovies and sun-dried tomatoes, while platters offer up buffalo mozzarella, chilli nduja and mixed vegetables. Sumptuous pasta creations range from black ink scialatielli with crab, scallops and squid, to gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil.

Desserts at Bottega Prelibato Shoreditch include traditional tiramisu, as well as homemade pear and chocolate cake. An extensive wine list boasts vintages from across Italy, including dessert wine from Umbria.

A tranquil, traditional example of Italian dining, Bottega Prelibato London is a 5-minute walk from Old Street Tube Station.

Overall good experience, pasta is great! The service was quite slow so this is only the negative point of my dinner.

I travel frequently to London and this place is always one of my MUST go. The staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic! Love how the menu changes almost nightly as I like to change it up to new experiences. Nice side garden that you can enjoy a share plate and bottle of wine while enjoying the good weather!

The restaurant is a charming space with an authentic, elegant yet rustic feel to it. The menu is short but has everything you could want, and there are also additional items on the daily chalk-board menu. There is also a very good wine menu. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. All in all, a very well-run independent restaurant.

Food tasted good but was cold on arrival. Service was very slow - took a long time to take our order for drinks. Due to service and cold food I feel it was a bit overpriced.

A very good italian restaurant. We enjoyed the courgette flower filled with anchovies, the meat carpaccio and the platters to share. Good choice of wines. Nice service although a bit rushed on a saturday evening. Trendy place in Shoreditch.

The team at Bottega Prelibato were AMAZING! Have been here a few times in the past. Booked a birthday dinner for my sister and I, arranged a surprise cake to be delivered and served to us after dinner. Everything was even better than expected!!

Good buzzy atmosphere and a warm welcome. We had a tasty shared platter first and then all had different pasta dishes. My bass ravioli with prawns was delicious.

The restaurant felt very authentic, as we walked in the room was quite full but everything the vibe was very relaxed; the staff was very nice and they the table ready for us. We order from the Specials board and I must say the food exceeded the expectation. We started with a platter of burrata, salmon and caviar - unusual combination but damn was it good; for main course i had a sirloin steak cooked to perfection with sauteed mushrooms and spinach - absolutely excellent. My partner and I shared a bottle of Inferno which I would definitely recommend. Overall experience was good and I will be dining here again and again and again.
