A favourite for Italian cuisine since opening in the 1990s, Bolton’s is a homely hideaway in the bustling city. Honest home cooking is a key focus at Bolton’s, with recipes passed down through generations.
Journeying through some of the finest produce Italy has to offer, Bolton’s restaurant in London offers a host of bold yet simple dishes. As well as highlights like specially imported Parma ham from a boutique producer and their signature lobster spaghetti, trusty Bolton’s menu options include sea bass fillets with clam and shrimp sauce, or veal Milanese.
For dessert, sample treats crafted at Bolton’s very own Soho-based patisserie, like Italian gateaux, or classic tiramisu. The wine list at Bolton’s in Bishopsgate brings together both rare and easy drinking bottles, while a lengthy spirit stock includes luxurious ports and grappas.
The cosy, New York Italian-style dining room at Bolton’s restaurant features an elevated mezzanine floor, and intricate, bespoke stained glass windows. Monument Tube Station is a 5-minute walk away.

Excellent, I was in the mood for a good Traditional Italian Restaurant, The menu was sensibly limited the service swift, attentive but not over attentive. I wouldn't go to Bolton's to discuss a secret takeover bid, but for a lively atmosphere with good traditional Italian food first class.

The reception was warm, personal and friendly. I was made to feel relaxed straight away. The service was attentive and polite, the food was very good indeed. This is a business district restaurant but there are several tourist attractions within minutes walk and the prices are not so silly as to be unaffordable by tourist visitors looking for a special City dining experience.
