An opulent slice of London dining tradition, Boisdale of Mayfair combines an elegant restaurant, shellfish bar and cigar terrace in one venue. The signature red walls and dark mahogany panelling are complemented with plush leather furnishings and classic and contemporary artwork, while regular events include live music and Cuban cigar tasting.
The selection of Boisdale of Mayfair menus have been crafted to offer indulgent, premium flavours for every appetite. From the bar, there are a variety of British oysters, whole lobsters and a range of charcuterie. British tapas small sharing plates include devilled veal kidneys on toast, and smoked haddock croquettes with cucumber salsa, while hearty mains feature traditional favourites like Roast Dumfriesshire Blackface haggis with neeps and tatties, and a selection of Aberdeenshire steaks.
The Boisdale of Mayfair whisky selection is highly regarded, and offers bottles from all across Scotland's different distillery regions. There are also vintage wines and champagnes, along with artfully crafted cocktails made with only the finest ingredients.
A quintessentially British experience, Boisdale of Mayfair is just off Oxford Street, and sits just 2 minutes' walk from Marble Arch Tube Station.

It's a very nice, intimate venue and the live jazz was great. But on this occasion, the food simply was not good enough and £50 per head felt VERY expensive.

I was surprised how quiet Boisdale Mayfair was for a Friday evening, which made for less ambience. Location is good but there didn’t seem to be anywhere in the immediate vicinity to go for a pre or follow-up drink with more atmosphere. Food was edible - Welsh rarebit was a tasty starter on the set menu, but chicken was mediocre and the toffee pudding a heavy sticky lump. The wine at around £28 a bottle was very poor quality. The live entertainment was good but a short performance. I wouldn’t go back, you can get much better value and ambience elsewhere.

Lovely experience, our waitress was wonderful and more concerned with what was best for us rather than trying to sell as much as she could

Great atmosphere, helpful management and staff and tasty food. First time we tried Haggis and it was a revelation, sooo good. Mains were good especially my chicken dish. Good choice of puddings and well worth every penny.
