With trademark tartan hues, Boisdale of Bishopsgate is opposite Liverpool Street Station, and serves up fine Scottish cuisine for a hungry crowd of City diners. The Piano Bar features live jazz every night, and there is a classic oyster bar for relaxed dining.
The luxuriant Boisdale menu features delectable caviar, steaks and shellfish. The finest, naturally reared Aberdeenshire beef makes up the superb Boisdale steak cuts, which are dry aged and grass-fed for exceptional flavour. For a sumptuous treat, try the Rossini seared foie gras with fresh grated black truffles.
Interesting fine wines and premium champagnes are available at Boisdale restaurant, alongside indulgent desserts like bitter chocolate cheesecake and blood orange gelato.
Close to Liverpool Street, Boisdale features a smart interior with sleek banquettes, cosy alcoves and classic design. Scottish house specials and a vibrant ambience accompany excellent service at Boisdale London.

I have been to Boisdales of Bishopsgate many times before, but this is the first time it has come up on a Bookatable Star Deal. I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, and this time was no exception. The food is always excellent and well presented and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Star Deal, which includes a glass of champagne, is very good value with a good selection of choices for each of the three courses. The only downside to this very good restaurant (and hence my rating of only four stars instead of five) are the dreadful toilets which are badly in need of a good refurbishment.

The overall experience was superb. Ambience was very much like a 1920 speak easy style and music was very good.
Food salt and pepper squid could have done with a little more heat for my likening but was cooked perfectly, followed but the chicken and quince I will be copping this at home followed by the chocolate and pecan mouse out of this world.
I never normally stick to the deals menu but everything on the menu sounded good. I have found my new favourite restaurant. As John Catucci would say " you got eat here"

Welomed from the beginning, the service was impeccable. Great whiskies, amazing food and the music was the icing on the cake. Can't recommend this place highly enough and I can't wait to go back.
