With elevated views over the shores of Clew Bay, Blue Wave occupies a bright, scenic setting on the fourth floor of the Atlantic Coast Hotel in Westport. The food consists of stylish Irish brasserie cooking, which has garnered an AA Rosette for food and service and three RAC dining awards. Typical restaurant dishes include grilled pavé of cod with sautéed wild mushrooms and mangetout or pan roast breast of chicken with a black pudding potato cake and celeriac broth. Making the most of the hotel's location on the shores of Clew Bay, the award-winning Head Chef Anthony Holland chooses only the finest and freshest fish, meat and local produce for each evening's menu. Each morning, you can also enjoy the breakfast, which has previously been nominated by Georgina Campbell's Guide as the best hotel breakfast in Ireland.
