A stalwart of Liverpool’s dining scene, Paul Askew is now chef patron of The Art School, widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in the city. As well as serving up modern British cuisine with European influences, Paul has also created a stunning afternoon tea, served in the Art School Cellars, a cosy sanctuary beneath the main restaurant.
The Art School afternoon tea offers indulgent twists on classics, with the sandwich options including corn-fed Goosnargh chicken with curried egg on brioche, and poached salmon with caviar on rye bread. Follow this with the likes of Earl Grey macaron and white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake.
