Lovely quiet location, tucked away down a cobbled Street. We had afternoon tea, which was fabulous. Should have had a gin cocktail, but exchanged for a glass of tattinger! Excellent service & not rushed.

With the feel of a 1960s private members' club, Blades at Hush is an exclusive restaurant and whisky bar tucked away in a tranquil Mayfair courtyard with outdoor seating. Premium British flavours are served, along with fine whiskies from around the world, and traditional afternoon teas.

The eclectic menu at Blades features small plates of European classics such as carpaccio of beef with sautéed scallops and burrata with almonds, honey and thyme, alongside luxurious prime grills of fillet steak, grilled lobster and Welsh lamb rack. Not forgetting the indulgent Cacio e Pepe with black pepper and perfect accompaniment sides including Aspen fries with Parmesan and truffle oil, and creamed spinach with hollandaise and nutmeg.

The Hush at Blades whisky list is truly extensive, featuring Scottish malts from the highlands, lowlands, Speyside, and the islands. There are also Japanese varieties, American bourbons, and the restaurant's signature blend. Afternoon tea at Blades at Hush London includes treats like raspberry ripple lollipop, and loose leaf teas from H. R. Higgins of Mayfair.

Offering private members' club exclusivity without the actual membership costs, Blades at Hush Mayfair is a shining example of traditional British sophistication. Bond Street Tube Station is 4 minutes' walk away.

Beautiful restaurant and a great afternoon tea (delicious gin and jam!). Very accommodating of our requests. Highly recommended!

Would not recommend as there was so much wrong with the afternoon tea. Lacking atmosphere, food very average/poor ( bread was dry/old and sandwiches lacked taste as well as imagination!) The choices of tea and replenishing it was shocking. We struggled to understand the waiter when he spoke to us and, although he tried, the service was no where near good enough. I was shocked at how bad everything was. Btw I’ve been a regular customer of the main establishment, Hush, for 20+ years and have never had a problem or a bad experience there. Would love to give feed back directly to the manager.

We had a very sweet waiter, but the rest of the staff were slightly rude when asked questions (no eye contact when I asked where the restrooms were). We had afternoon tea. The tea was very good and a few of the sandwiches, but the cocktails and the cakes tasted old and were not up our standard at all. The ladies room was very prettily decorated and designed, but unfortunately absolutely DISGUSTING. There seemed to have been no cleaning that day! Revolting experience. Would not recommend to anyone except people I don’t like.

Incredible service & food. So enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit. I had added that it was a birthday, and they bought out extra cake with a candle.

The overall experience was good. The gin cocktail included in the deal was amazing and quite strong. It was a bit disappointing that the deal I booked was not available and we had 2 courses instead of 3

Love Hush and think great 3 course special menu with a glass of prosecco. Disappointed that Blades was closed on Tuesday night as like the extra niceities like the quiet and cosy setting with white linen table clothes. Hush is a little more noisey without the furnishings to absorb the sound. They looked after us in Hush with a nice round table and lovely service. Food was delicious. Great place to meet up as bar area upstairs is great for a pre meet and restaurant and staff are all very welcoming.
