Nice location, great service and fab food! A rather limited Prix Fix menu but well worth a visit, highly recommended!

I'm sorry to say we were very disappointed when we visited this time. The food was very unimaginative and not particularly tasty. The service was okay, even though we had to ask for the deal, and I had to go and ask for a spoon! The location is ideal, but......

This was the first time we had dined here and we loved the whole experience. The bistro is situated in a lovely room with a great ambiance. The smoked salmon starter & the moules mariniere were both excellent and served by friendly & knowledgeable waiters.

Food, atmosphere, service all fantastic. What will stop me going back? I had a drink in the bar before going into bistro, where I was charged £12 for a large glass of white. I felt that I was talked into this by the barman, and,had I known the price I would certainly not have ordered it.

A very pleasant experience. Dined from the set menu as part of a deal. I started with French onion soup. This was presented in a proper croque topped with cheese. My wife had a courgette and tomato salad on a biscuit base. We both had the boeuf bourginon as main with mash potato, carrots and gree beans. For dessert, we both had a cold apple tart with cream. Food was of a very high standard. Only niggle was that there was a bit too much pastry with the apple tart. A nice aspect was that we weren't rushedby atteentive but not overbearing staff (perhaps because it was a quiet Monday evening).
