Attractive location + room. Pleasant quiet environment with well spaced table although tables for 2 rather small.
Food quite acceptable but relatively expensive.

Found within the Art Deco headquarters of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Bistro at 66 presents light British dishes for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. In this 1st-floor dining room, spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows flood this angled, minimalist space with natural light.

The Bistro at 66 menu continually changes, to ensure the highest quality seasonal produce is always on offer. Light bites might include mackerel Nicoise, while hearty offerings from the weekly bistro menu include lamb rump with new potatoes and cabbage, or glazed sesame salmon with broccoli and soy.

The ‘pudding trolley’ never fails to impress with desserts such as blackberry frangipane with vanilla cream on offer. Also enjoy refined elevenses at Bistro 66 in London, and choose from an assortment of cakes to enjoy alongside freshly-brewed teas.

Bistro at 66 in Marylebone also boasts an al fresco terrace, and is just a 9-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

It is normally such a civilised place but whilst the usual dining room was being redecorated we we push up stairs into a conference room. This also doubled up as a "breakaway room" to provide tea for people at a conference (so it was invaded by 30 people during lunch). Had I known this and had I not feared "come back" if I chose not to take up my booking, I would not have attended. I hope RIBA read this. Normally it is such a lovely civilsed calm and cool place

Food was Ok, though a little overpriced. Location is excellent but the dining room sterile.

Pleasant quiet ambiance, acceptable service and food. Limited menu and not always easy to attract attention.

I just love the building - and the restaurant is fine - spacious quiet and nice food - tasty - fairly predictable but not a lot of choice. I've been twice in the last month and I've had half the menu already. The service is on the slow side but welcoming The tables are well placed not too close together
. I think it is a perfect place for meeting friends and being able to hear what is being said and to enjoy a meal together. Its main unique selling point is the building and it doesn't let the building down

The service was slow, order incorrect and 2/3 of the desserts were unavailable after we ordered.

The food tasted better than it sounded - cod in miso? Love the RIBA building and peaceful atmosphere. The service was a little pushy, seemed like they were keen to finish.

using this venue to meet up with architects travelling down for Scotland for a meeting

The menu offering was limited and didn't include any simple and substantial choices for hungry Scotsmen. could do with less fancy options.
We noticed that by 1.30 pm on Friday we were the only diners so what's going on.

Such a beautiful calm space to have lunch in a very special building. Lunch was delicious - although not enough black pudding around the egg!
