Booed for a pre theatre (matinee) meal. Allowed 2 hours so not to have to rush. Only one table being served when we got there. Very attentive waiter took our order. During a reasonable wait quite a few more folk came in and it was obvious there were not enough staff on. Food came and was very nice- as usual in a Bella Italia! After finishing our main course we waited a long time to catch a member of staf to ask for a dessert menu. It was thrown on to the table as the waitress ran past and after another 20 minutes I said to my husband we had better leave and just have a coffee over in the theatre. We eventually went to the ice cream counter to pay as no one came to our table.
Conclusions: food good, service much too slow.

Service was really slow, food came out before our drinks arrived at the table, waitress said one of our drinks would be free, when the bill came, they had charged us for the drink, couldn't be bothered arguing over it as the waitresses attitude wasn't the best,
I also presented them with a voucher, I was told I couldn't use it because it was Father's Day, I was told to check the T&C's, to which I did, and I told the waitress, yes you are right, it says not to be used on Father's Day, except after 5pm, Thankfully it was 7pm, the waitress said they weren't allowing any vouchers, I told her it was from Bella Italia itself, showed her the voucher on my phone and I received the discount, food was really good, just service really slow

Nice food though expensive (as ingredients wouldn't be very costly for pasta or pizza)
lovely sitting in window looking out to sea. Pleasant helpful staff.

Not great at all ! We went for a Prosecco Brunch and asked could we upgrade the £5.99 cooked breakfast to an £8.99 cooked breakfast and pay the difference , they said they couldn't and instead put an extra sausage , egg , half tomatoe , and a spoon of beans on and charged us both £5.80 each ! We could of purchased another breakfast for that ! Absolutely small time money grabbing way of doing business and losing customers ! So essentially we paid nearly £30 for 2 small breakfasts with the Groupon included ! Needless to say we will never go back and would advise anyone to avoid !
