have used this restaurant in the past and always a favourite for birthday dinners or to take friends for lunch. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. The menu caters for all tastes and as I have a gluten free diet they recommend dishes for me. all in all very good value for money and friendly.

Although it was busy when we arrived (7.30pm) it soon quietened down a bit which we prefer. Been a few times now whenever we travel up to Inverness from Edinburgh and food is always excellent.

dined at 18.00 . Starter took over 30 mins to serve but well worth the wait . Calamari was very tasty and so was the anti pasto platter . Main course was sirloin steak for both of us , cooked exactly how we asked . Shared a pudding for two , brownies ice cream chewy bits and a shot of amareto , very nice . We both left satisfied with the meal and service , will definetly be going back .

We dined at 6pm on a weekend evening. The restaurant was very noisy...appeared to be under staffed, staff appeared under pressure. The service was very slow. One meal in the party of 5 was completely dried out as if it had been kept warm whilst rest of meals were being prepared. All the other meals were fine. Waiter not impressed at us complaining about dried up, unappetising meal with lack of ingredients. Would warn any customer to check their final bill, ours was full of errors. Could have been charged £14.50 extra on a £60 bill, had we not noticed. Waiter not happy at us noticing the error either and informed us that the error would have to come out of his own pocket. Do not know what he expected, us, the customers, to do about that???Inform the waiter soon as you sit down if you wish a childrens meal deal. We have in this branch, never been offered a childrens menu even though we have two 9 year olds, so ask for the Childrens Menu and order the childrens drinks from that or your drinks will not be included in the meal deal price and you will be charged £1.95 each, and the refills, that are advertised at 50p on childrens meal deal, will also be charged at the £1.95 price.Have been in Bella Italia in London, Edinburgh, Centre Parcs etc etc and have never had any complaints. The staff have been fantastic and the meals have all been very good.Possibly just one member of staff in Inverness letting the restaurant down. However, the staff member who eventually sorted the discrepancy out did not communicate with me at all, no apology, nothing and the waiter continually referred to me as 'SHE'. Completely lacking in social skills and manners. The restaurant was clean but toilets filthy and stank. This is the 1st time ever that I have done a review on anything...thats how disgusted I was at this branch of Bella Italia
