We had the set three course menu. The dishes were plentiful and tasty and really good value for money. The chocolate orange brownie was particularly yummy! Service was good.

The restaurant is very cramped with too little space for comfort between tables. Service was also rather slow, so that although we'd booked for an hour and a half before our show was due to start, there was only time for one course.

Waiters were very helpful and friendly. The food was OK, some pizzas were a bit burnt at the edges but his could have been because we were a table of 8, and they tried to deliver it all at once.

the food was very good, I had the Salmon Limone, and reasonable price. For a restaurant in Leicester square (or anywhere else) very easy to get a reservation in the last minute. Was not too busy (in comparison with other restaurants around) but the service took forever!! Just to give an idea, 30minutes just to pay the bill. If you are not in a rush, I recommend!

Food was lovely and waiters were very friendly. Service was slow for us upstairs as the restaurant was full with not enough staff to assist.

Brilliant service and tasty food for a pre theatre meal. Could not find fault with anything and of course the position of the restaurant is great for getting to a variety of theatres

Bella Italia is really a nice restaurant, I enjoyed it.. The food was nice.. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that me and friend had to wait so long before the food came.. We waited for half an hour.. Apart from that I would definetely recommend everyone to go there..

On arrival we was shown to our table and given the menus? I told our waiter that I had a voucher for 2 and he looked at the voucher but didn't seem too sure about it. He spoke with his manager that said that yes it was fine. I then asked about what we could choose from the menu and he said that we could choose any starter each, any main meal pasta or pizza each, and then Gelato ice cream each, all washed down with a glass of prosecco each? Not bad we thought? When looking at the menu I noticed the starters and the mains were all priced differently? So I was confused with what I could and could not order? Anyway we ordered the king prawns in garlic and chilli (I think they were the dearest starter and the Gnocchi with chicken main and pizza with chicken, basil etc. (I think they were all the most expensive dishes on the menu, but the waiter confirmed that our order was fine? The food when it arrived was divine. The king prawns were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The pizza was extremely tasty on a thin handmade base, and the gnocchi was just amazing, packed with flavour. The prosecco was very nice too and was a perfect accompaniment to our meal. All off the sudden a lady rushed upstairs to where we were sitting and spoke to our waiter. It sounded like he had made a mistake and we was limited to what we could order off the menu. I felt sorry for the poor chap but the manager should have made it clear to him what we could have ordered with the voucher? We ordered our gelato ice creams which were also delicious and then left. Nothing was said to us about the matter by anyone and we went away extremely happy.
