We had an enjoyable meal and the waitress was very helpful when I realised I hadn't redeemed a voucher.

As you were aware we booked a table for 3 people at 10.00pm last evening after a very pleasant evening at the theatre. We were eventually approached for our order, the lasagne was off the menu. We ordered and waited and waited 45 minutes to be served. On asking why it was taking so long we were advised that they only had one chef and that the restaurant manager was helping out!!!
Some of the food was left on the counter so was WARM, THE MEALS CAME SEPERATELY.
Other diners left, We were not advised of the delay or we might have moved on. If we had not had 40% discount vouchers we would have complained more strongly!

    You asked the question.

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. It wasn't extremely busy on Sunday at 5pm. They took our orders for drinks & food after about 10-15 mins of sitting down. Food took a lot longer to come for 5 adults and 2 kids. We had to wait over 30 mins and then had to send back a dish as it was luke warm. There only seemed to be 3 waiter/waitresses covering. They were constantly rushing around clearing tables and taking orders. Hot drinks & kids desserts again took awhile to come. I felt that the food was average, and the whole experience would have been more appeasing of the service was more attentive and quicker. Would maybe go again, if not in a rush to eat.

Excellent service and food. Lovely ambience whilst it was pouring with rain outside. Had a groupon voucher for brunch with proscecco. Treated ourselves to a dessert too. Great value for money!

Lovely experience. The food was brilliant. I love Marco Polo (Spicy Duck pieces with mushrooms and spring onions with lovely pasta). The lemon meringue pie is wonderful. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I will certainly go back again.

We arrived for our 8.00pm booking. When taken to our table we waited for a good 5 minutes before our waitress arrived. When she came to bring our menus we informed her we had a groupon voucher. She quickly took the menus off us and brought us the groupon menu. Without a backward glance she quickly walked away without asking us if we would like drinks. After another 5 minutes my Husband managed to catch her eye and she came over. At this stage we felt that because we had a groupon voucher we were deemed to be second rate. She took our drinks order which was a bottle of wine and an expensive bottle of water!! Eventually our order was taken and the mood changed when we ordered extras with our meal! Having been in the restaurant trade for over 35 years you are very much aware of how you are treated and how you should be treated. At first we both said "well she's just lost her tip". First impressions last as we say, thankfully she managed to turn us round and we did leave her a tip. But it's something that should be brought to your attention that everyone should be treated equally. I'm glad I had this email as I wouldn't have said anything otherwise. The meal was superb and we will be back. Not sure if they got the bill right though as it had a cheesecake on it and we didn't have that!!!
