Service/ waiting times were atrocious. We ordered our drinks and ended up going up to tge bar ourselves to get them as we had waited 30 minutes already for them. Food took over 1 and half hours and when it did come items were missing from the plate as you had sold out, although no-one told us until dished up. My son ordered from the grande mains the ciao chicken and they forgot it so had to wait even longer for that and when it came it had 2 chicken strips on, not enough to feed a cat. The cucumber was missing. Also no onon rings or corn on the cob with adult ribs that were ordered. When the food eventually came it was lovely and the waitress was very apologetic, cannot fault her. She told us 3 staff had called in sick which left only 2 waitresses to do all the work.

Oh dear. Service just too slow. Took nearly an hour to get starters and the restaurant wasn't even busy, Have some sympathy for the staff, but sadly think we are unlikely to return. They have been open long enough to get this issue sorted (and it seems to be an ongoing one). Shame, but there is a lot of competition in the local area and I can get food of at least an equal quality with much better service without going very far.

Usually we have a great time in Bella italia and food is fantastic but unfortunately they was understaffed and having three children they got bored and hungry quickly as it took over an hour for the main course that didn't all come together .The rating I give now is only from last night's meal which was still yummy though late but overall I love it.

The waiter couldn't have been more polite but he warned us there was a slight delay with food. However it was 45 mins before our starter of simple bread and oils arrived and this was after we had to ask. 30 minutes later we were still waiting for our main course so gave up and left hangry!

Valentines was nearly a flop! Once myself and my girlfriend arrived to the restaurant we found out from the waiter that our table had been double booked and we would be put to the bottom of the waiting list. I said that was unacceptable as I had booked the table for that specific time as we had a cinema booking afterwards. Luckily they managed to sort a table for us but advised us to only have mains as food was taking a long time to come out, the food once out was lovely and thankfully the evening went well in the end.

Unfortunately there were not enough staff to serve customers ( manager, one waiter and one person in the kitchen) and service was very slow. We were at the restaurant for 2 course lunch for 2h20min but one of my friends was on her lunch break from work so she ended up being very late back to work ( despite the fact we asked her lunch to be sereved quicker). The prawns were under cooked- the food was rushed. The manager appologised for a slow service but the whole experience was disappointing.

Restaurant nice and spacious - not too close to the table next door like some. Service was a little slow at times, although overall was fine. Food was very good. We had a range of starters and mains, but couldn't manage dessert! Arancini were excellent. Also had garlic bread with cheese (lovely taste and not too heavy). Can't remember all we had, but everything was good and we cleared as many plates as we had room for! Draft beer was not one we had previously heard of, but it was very nice. Will definitely go again!
