Went for deep dish pizza and it was top notch..the small was way more than 2 people could eat with a salad. Highly recommend.

It was a nice experience. We weren't wowed by the food but it was quite inexpensive which was what we were looking for. The atmosphere was kind of kitch. It is very informal which was also what we were looking for. The service was attentive but not overly so. The drinks were ok. It was close to our hotel which we were also looking for. So I guess if you are staying in downtown and you are looking for Cajun at a good price, this is the restaurant for you. Not to be confused with a good smoke house.

The stuffed pizza is the very best in Chicago. I've tried them all but it is the best!!!! Great service and very conscientious. They were trying very hard to move the beggars out of the area as we were dining outside.

We went to Bella Bacino on a Groupon which entitled us to a shared appetizer and dessert, 2 glasses of wine, and 2 entrees. We ordered the meatball appetizer of 4 very large meatballls which was wonderful. Anticipating an equivalent portion on the entrees, we left 2 of the meatballs to take home with us. Thus we were very surprised at the small portions that we received as entrees. My husband's ravioli from the daily specials had 2 ravioli, albeit rather large ones, and some very small shrimp. My veal limon had only one thin piece of veal. Both were very tasty but we thought the portions were meager. Did they give us smaller portions due to the Groupon? They were out of tiramisu which we wanted for dessert; we found this a bit strange for 8:15 on a Friday night. We had a remaining choice of flourless chocolate cake or creme caramel; we chose the former which was also good, though again quiet small. The atmosphere was very nice but it's the first time we've ever finished our entrees at an Italian restaurant, even though we don't usually order an appetizer beforehand! we found the service a bit rushed; we were out in an hour and 15 minutes without being asked if wanted a second glass of wine or coffee. My answer to the following question would have the following qualification: if the friend has a small appetite.

We were staying at Hotel 71 on Wacker and chose this restaurant based on the reviews and the location. I asked for a quiet table and was happy to have that request honored. The pizza was excellent as was our waitress. Everything was beyond perfect!
