Lovely Afternoon Tea for a friends birthday. We couldn't finish the tasty cakes so got to take them home with us. Friendly smiley service.

Overall a rather inconsistent experience, with some great elements but others that were quite lacking.
We went to the Bloomsbury branch at noon. A very small place and less posh than their other branches, but the atmosphere was cosy without being overly busy. The tea selection wasn't particularly large or exciting but they were good. I recommend totonac vanilla. My companion ordered a coffee at first, and later the staff offered her a tea for no extra charge.
The sandwiches were amazing, loved the brioche bun - perhaps a bit too much because we could hardly touch the sweets after. Scones and jam were good too, but the clotted cream came in an ugly plastic container and it was coagulated on the top. I didn't want to make a fuss since I doubted they could do anything about it, but I was really quite put off. Also a little disappointed that they didn't have the marshmallows that many reviews praised highly. For sweets, we got 3 cupcakes (for 3 of us) in different flavours, and each a brownie, blondie, and another cake. The first cupcake we tried was sadly dry, though the others were fine. We didn't manage to eat much but the staff packed the leftovers for us to bring home. The amount of food is very generous for £25 - and we had the afternoon tea week discount on top of that, so I think overall the experience and food is still worth the money.
Service was good. The staff were attentive, clearing empty plates and refilling our tea readily. We were allowed to stay over our allocated time limit, no pressure from the staff at all.

Bea's is a quaint and adorable tea room! Everything was delicious, especially the cupcakes. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is I didn't perceive that the quantity of items in the afternoon tea matched the price. In other words, that the price was too high for the quantity of food. Although the quality of food was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the venue was dissapointing to small, not what I expected especially for the price that we paid

Wonderful meal, but I missed some cucumber that is essential to an Afternoon tea for me.

A very nice experience for our group. Staff was welcoming and very pleasant. Both the savory and sweet tea items were appetizing and fresh. None of us are butter cream fans but the pistachio-iced chocolate cupcake was delicious. Thanks to the staff for making my colleague's birthday celebration enjoyable!

A delightful little afternoon tea - the staff and service excelled - we were very impressed with the overall experience, perfectly executed by wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff - despite being late for the booking we were made to feel that this really wasn't an issue - we loved the unusual brioche sandwiches, something different to the usual cream cheese and cucumber fingers! The whole thing was great and such value for money - brilliant!

What a lovely cosy little cafe where the staff are extremely attentive and the afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious with the scones cream and jam being outstanding beautifully fresh and still warm in the middle. Staff were checking on us regularly but not overly intrusive, happy to bring more tea and cater to our dietary requirements which seemed no trouble. This was a treat for a friend who had travelled a long distance for the day and it made it really special, will be popping in regularly from now on for my morning coffee and pastry
