We were very impressed with our experience at Bbar. We had a warm welcome, attentive service from friendly staff and the food was great. We took my elderly mum who is unsteady on her feet and a waitress noticed that she looked unsure about managing the steps to the toilets and immediately showed her to an alternative one on our level

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea. A table in the window overlooking The Mews. Nice and relaxed, good food.

Five diners and we all enjoyed our meals. The starter salads were excellent as were the spring rolls. Large portions, good value. We had a selection of burgers, salt beef sandwich and short ribs, again clean plates, and the desserts were equally good. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Lovely place to have dinner whether it is a smaller or larger group. The menu covers a wide choice with some unusual interesting things. The staff are very good and nothing is too much trouble. The honeycombe ice cream is wonderful!!

Very good restaurant with good food in goth quality and quantity. Only negative comments would be about drinks, i.e., the beer "Windhoek" was not cold enough, and the variety of SA wines are dissapointing if we compare with Vivat Bacchus.
