The food was as expected authentically Spanish, and exceeded expectations in a city with hundreds of so-called Tapas Bars. As on this occasion we had a pre-theatre visit, it definitely requires a more longer visit next time. Bravo!

Loved everything about this place. Great atmosphere great food and the most amazing salty ceeveza which must be tried

This is a brilliant place for a relaxed catch-up with friends, because you can just keep eating and drinking and ordering more as you go along. This also means it's a good way to empty your wallet or max out your plastic, of course, but for a celebratory treat it's perfect. I would particularly recommend the octopus, the hake with saffron and samphire, and the ox cheek — all unusual dishes but very tasty and well-presented. I and my companion had cocktails to start, five tapas dishes plus a cheeseboard, several different sherries to accompany the food as appropriate, and G&Ts for pudding. The service was friendly, well-informed and generous.

Four of us ate here on Saturday evening. We loved it - the service was attentive without being over-zealous and everything we ate was delicious!

The best tapas I have ever eaten and the friendliest service.

The patatas bravas are to die for! And the cod croquettes are amazing.

We were a bit early for our table and she said if we came back in 15 mins she could give us a bigger and nice table. The service was impeccable from start to finish and they couldn’t do enough for you!

I will be returning for sure!

Great selection of food but we prefer tortilla a bit less runny. Very loud ambience though as party of 10 people behind us so difficult to have a conversation

It is a favourite spot and they can always accommodate a table. You can often ask for things off menu and if the kitchen agrees they make for you. Spanish food with a warm and rustic atmosphere.

The food was very nice but the service was far too quick. All food came out in quick succession and felt extremely rushed, which was disappointing. The plates were being collected, when they were not completely finished to make room for other dishes. I understand that tapas is served as it is ready, but I would have thought a restaurant pitched as yours is, would be more aware of how quickly the food is being served, and be able to spread the food out to make a more enjoyable dining experience.
