Barrica is truly one of the best, if not the best, tapas bars in London. But in all honesty, it is so much more than what one expects a tapas bar to be. The food is beyond excellence, setting the standard you would be hard to find elsewhere. Even on my many trips to Spain, I would find it hard to equal. They raise tapas to a true experience with dishes like Jerusalem artichoke parfait with toasted hazelnut vinaigrette and Beetroot and truffled goat’s cheese croquettes taking the vegetarian options to a whole new level. The vegetarian options are extensive and you are spoiled for choice so as a vegetarian I never tire of visiting. I am also assured by friends that the seafood and meat options are equally sublime so please check out the menu as this is fine dining but with a homely feel. Good honest food with style! The bar itself is lively and contempoary, awesome decor and a vibrancy that sets the mood for a great night. To top it off, you are treated like a friend and definiotely not just a customer. In only a couple of Visits, Marta, Javi, Pablo and Rafa were greeting me like family, making sure every visit was as enjoyable as the last. Promt, friendly service and the best gin and wine list ever! Try the Gin Mare and if you enjoy red wine, ask after the Mencia. These guys really know quality and genuinely like to ensure you have a great time. Muy, muy, muy bien!

What can I say about Barrica? It is Sublime! The food is always on point & delicious, the staff are attentive in a very subtle way. The atmosphere is buzzy, almost electric, you could almost be in a jostling tapas bar in the heart of Barcelona or Madrid. Barrica is by far my favourite place to take friends and enjoy the pure Spanish essence that is Barrica. Thank you!
