The welcome is warm and the staff is clearly enthusiastic about the food, delighting in explaining how dishes are prepared. This is fun. The wine list isexcellent: large choice of wines from lesser known regions by the glass and some more classic bottles. Decent choice of sherries as well. My guest and I started with the Sevillian version of gazpacho (creamier, sweeter, no peppers) which was one of the day's specials. It was excellent. The artichoke parfait with hazelnet was tasty (artichoke can easily be bland), the croquetas de bacalao were delicate and not greasy and the simply toasted pimientos del padron were delicious. Together with am and grilled chorizo (nicely balanced with sweet potatoes), this was a good meal. The proposed desserts were als original and well-made.

Great buzzy restaurant. They tell you in the booking confirmation that if you don't want to be allocated high stalls and would prefer a table to phone them, which I did and that was all fine. The food was excellent, A great choice of slightly different to the norm tapas. All very tasty and quite exciting and plenty for a fish eating vegetarian. They recommend specials of the day and our waiter said that he thought they were always really interesting and suggested we went for a couple of them, All staff were great / friendly / helpful. I'd certainly go again.

The food here was a disappointment despite good ratings. The dishes did not have much to do with what traditional Spanish tapas - some were overcooked, others just tasteless. Patatas bravas came with a generic spicy sauce and were dry. Octopus was cold & flavorless. Pork was overcooked and too soft. With a handful of other tapas places in the same area offering more options & better quality tapas, I will make sure to avoid this restaurant in the future.
