Service was poor the waiter didn’t know very much English, served wrong drinks. Wine was tasteless and feels diluted. Food didn’t seem very fresh ordered pork but was tasteless. Would definitely not go back again.

The waiter was quite rude and miserable and didn't give us full information of what the afternoon tea included. We had to keep asking questions to get the information.

The restaurant itself was very nice, liked the pictures on the walls and the fact we were level with the canal, but the restaurant was almost empty - 6pm on a Saturday evening. What I thought would put me off a return visit is the shortage of pasta dishes, esp tomato based sauces, for a main. Sorry if this isn’t suitable for an authentic Italian. The Italian Sauvignon Blanchett was delicious, as was the food we ordered - which I wouldn’t have chosen to have.

A pleasant dining experience, without being anything special.

The deal was two courses and a glass of fizz. When we arrived we were informed that it was a bottle of fizz. We were impressed until it arrived and it was a bottle of very cheap fizz, horribly sweet. We asked them to take it away and ordered a bottle of red wine. The food was OK, but they brought a portion of fries which we didn't order, so assumed it was because we didn't like the fizz. Unfortunately that was not the case and we were charged for them. Would not return.

Lovely canalside location at the base of The Cube. The staff were flexible with the 2 course meal deal, saying we could share a starter and a dessert if we preferred rather than having a starter each and a dessert each, which we did (and were glad we did as the portion sizes were quite ample!). The food was very nice, good quality, generous portions and piping hot which was welcome on a chilly November afternoon. The only disappointment was the 'bottle of fizz' included in the deal which turned out to be a low alcohol bottle of something called 'Fizzecco' which tasted quite unpleasant. Thank goodness we'd also ordered a bottle of their Montepulciano which was very nice and complimented our main courses (Americano pizza and Lasagne) nicely. However, the deal was still good for the price paid. This was our first visit and based on the food alone we would definitely return. Just no 'Fizzecco' next time...! :-)

Little disappointed with the fizz-only a 5% alcohol one so incredibly sweet with no option to change. Starter and main very nice. Staff friendly.
