Founded by Jamie Oliver, Barbecoa is all about elemental fire-based cooking in a modern context. Using the highest quality meat, carefully sourced from around the UK by Barbecoa's expert butchery team, the restaurant's talented chefs create delicious contemporary dishes using Texas pit smokers, tandoors, fire pits, robata grills and wood-fired ovens. As you sit at your table overlooking St Paul's Cathedral, you'll feel the heat, see the flames lick and the smoke drift upwards from the centerpiece open kitchen.

Dishes on the Barbecoa menu include a juicy fillet steak that’s aged on site, served up with bone marrow and smoked béarnaise, and chateaubriand for 2 with truffle butter. Alongside the steak, enjoy super-fresh fish dishes, seasonal salads and slow-cooked meats.

With the UK’s biggest selection of whisky, beautifully crafted cocktails and an impressive wine list, you’ll find the perfect accompaniment to whatever dish you choose at Barbecoa in London. For dessert, tuck into peanut butter cheesecake with black cherries, or the signature Barbecoa brownie with salted caramel.

Barbecoa restaurant in St Paul’s is a 2-minute walk from St Paul’s Tube Station.

Nice environment and views but very noisy. Difficult to have a conversation at busy times. Rump Steak was poor quality and overpriced. Pleasant attentive staff.

Venue was amazing. Calls to check pre booking was courteous. My wife's cheese pie was fantastic. My steak and chips was cold. The staff were very apologetic and took my main course away and returned it 10 mins later. Unfortunately my wife had finished her main course. My fresh main was cooked medium rare and not medium as previously requested. It was still good but not as requested. Our desert was a fudge brownie. Closer to a torte but still very nice. Wine list was extensive and waiters were knowledgeable. The staff were very apologetic and did not charge us for desert. I would return and hope for a faultless dining experience.

Unhurried and relaxed atmosphere created by attentive staff giving an excellent service. The stunning view over St. Paul's a tourist's, as well as a Londoner's, delight.
The food was delicious. The rump steak was succulent and full of flavour. The swordfish was served with a lovely crispy cabbage leaf and perfectly balanced accompaniments. Highly recommended.

Staff very knowledgeable and helpful and food lovely. Great view. Only downside was the air conditioning which made it uncomfortably cool.
