Fantastic place to eat. Steak is cooked to perfection. Starters were delicious. We had ribs & wings. Desserts were amazing. Waiter was attentive & gave us an anniversary treat of chocolate & macaron on a decorated plate.
This was my second visit & will definitely be returning again.

Founded by Jamie Oliver, Barbecoa is all about elemental fire-based cooking in a modern context. Using the highest quality meat, carefully sourced from around the UK by Barbecoa's expert butchery team, the restaurant's talented chefs create delicious contemporary dishes using Texas pit smokers, tandoors, fire pits, robata grills and wood-fired ovens. As you sit at your table overlooking St Paul's Cathedral, you'll feel the heat, see the flames lick and the smoke drift upwards from the centerpiece open kitchen.

Dishes on the Barbecoa menu include a juicy fillet steak that’s aged on site, served up with bone marrow and smoked béarnaise, and chateaubriand for 2 with truffle butter. Alongside the steak, enjoy super-fresh fish dishes, seasonal salads and slow-cooked meats.

With the UK’s biggest selection of whisky, beautifully crafted cocktails and an impressive wine list, you’ll find the perfect accompaniment to whatever dish you choose at Barbecoa in London. For dessert, tuck into peanut butter cheesecake with black cherries, or the signature Barbecoa brownie with salted caramel.

Barbecoa restaurant in St Paul’s is a 2-minute walk from St Paul’s Tube Station.

Barbecoa used to be one of my favourite restaurants in London. After not having been there for a while I decided to take a group of colleagues coming from outside the UK. I was very disappointed with: the table we were given as I originally requested in my booking one with a great view. I booked the £35 dinner special so I'm not sure of this was the reason we were not given a great table? the service was very poor and slow (I don't know how many times I had to ask fro the desert menu and the bill) and the food was definitely not what it was. The starter of ribs was simple and nothing great and the rum steak was dry and did not really look great.
I can definitely say, Barbecoa is a restaurant that I will be no longer raving about or recommending any time soon.

Absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly and efficient. The portions were big and full of flavour. We had the 3 course set menu which includes a drink. Great value for money. Beautiful view overlooking St. Paul's. The Korean chicken wings starter is the best! Would go back there for it over and over

Very good from starter to desert.
Expensive but that's expected anyway. Nice view of Saint Paul. Ask for a table by the window.
Only thing. You would hope with a 215£ bill for 2 people that they would offer something. But no. Not even coffee...

I have been wanting to dine at Barbecoa for sometime now so used my mums birthday as a great reason to visit and I wish we hadn’t bothered. The food was ok, nothing special at all. The ribs to start were lovely for me but far too spicy for my mum which wasn’t made clear on the menu as she’d of opted for something else. The service was ok, it’s such a big restaurant you feel you’re being rushed in and out. We did have a table with an amazing view of St. Paul’s cathedral though which was lovely but it’s very bog standard food at stupid prices.

Great food, great service, great location. Informal, but food really was a cut above other restaurants. We had the set menu and the burger was one of the n best I've had.

Over all I love the starters, ribs, sticky chicken wings with spicy sauce. I took the trout as main, and was fabolously cooked and served with mint peas.

Great food, friendly and helpful waiter. Accommodated an awkward bunch of guests, including a 70 year old's birthday, 2 coeliacs and a baby in a high chair.
