Recommended by the Guardian, Bangkok Café summons excellent Thai cuisine to Cardiff through a perfected blend of Thai herbs and spices. Complete with a chic bar area, Bangkok Thai restaurant also flaunts an electrifying décor.
Boasting locally sourced ingredients, the Bangkok Café menu includes a delicious fillet of lightly battered trout, cooked in a red curry paste, as well as mouth-watering Welsh lamb cutlets marinated in Thai herbs and spices with a piquant sauce. The Bangkok Café noodles, with prawns, squid, pak choi, baby corn, spring onions and a hint of curry, are also a flavourful favourite.
Boasting bold green and red leather booth seats, Bangkok restaurant complements these with glossy black furnishings. Adopting a sleek mirrored wall and mood lighting, Bangkok Café Thai restaurant in in Cardiff creates a cosmopolitan vibe.

We all really enjoyed our food. The service was good. I was disappointed that there was no dessert on the menu.

There were three dining so we had a wide range of dishes. All of them were excellent. Some of the dishes were new to us which was most welcome. The service was friendly. Whilst the place just about gets by as it is it really needs a refit. The toilets are small and dowdy and again need refurbishing and if possible enlarging.

Nice little Thai restaurant, with a good authentic menu. Ordered the excellent prawn soup which was served hot (temperature and spice), followed by the beef curry with noodles. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Reasonably priced.
