Good Indian food with both south and North Indian styles - The south indian dosa was excellent

In a fresh and modern setting, Bangalore serves a contemporary reinvention of classic Indian cuisine.
While the menu is prepared by award winning chef Yogesh Datta, usually synonymous with upmarket and fine-dining Indian cuisine, it offers good value and has a strong following from a young, trendy clientele.
The menu is innovative, informal and flexible; whether you're part of a large group or just enjoying your own company, there will be something to suit. Why not try the lamb meatballs in tempered mint yoghurt, or chicken tikka supreme marinated in sweet red chillies and roasted in the tandoor? All the dishes at Bangalore are aesthetically stunning and, needless to say, delicious. Prices are very reasonable, the service faultless and the facilities fantastic.
The ambience is laidback and friendly. The cosmopolitan dining room showcases low tables and stools for a relaxed ambience, and jazzy geometric patterns adorn the walls. The private double decker booths are legendary and attracts a lot of attention.

Modern eclectic 'Indian' food w a twist or two. Tapas-style dishes are best choice. Service friendly, international but clueless. Bargain beer bucket during happy hour but beer was warm and ice bucket virtually iceless. Fine for pre-theatre but not good enough for a special occasion. It's basically OK, not great, but should be applauded for perking up the usual Indian fare. It is an offshoot of the much posher, dearer Painted Heron in Chelsea. Give it a try but don't expect too much.

The meal was of a very poor standard lacking in flavour or any effort.

Fun atmosphere but food bland. Looked pretty but taste not there.
