Excellent experience. Enjoyed having a drink on the balcony to start with, and liked the window table for our meal. Think wines are very over-priced. £9 for a glass of wine is really over the top.

With stunning views over London from its 7th-floor rooftop garden setting, Babylon at The Roof Gardens is a chic restaurant serving delicious cuisine and cocktails, 100 feet above Kensington High Street.
The award-winning food on the Babylon menu is best described as contemporary British and dishes change regularly to ensure only the freshest seasonal ingredients are used.
The frequently changing menu of classic and contemporary British dishes makes for an eclectic selection, from sharing boards on a Monday evening to weekday set menus for lunch and traditional Sunday roasts. Babylon comes alive on Tuesday nights with the smooth tunes of live jazz and the lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy an aperitif or post-dinner drinks.
With its glorious panoramic views of the city, the terrace at Babylon offers a tranquil setting to sit and enjoy drinks at any time of the year. A seafood and champagne bar boasts in the summer, and in the winter months cosy up under blankets and heated lamps with hot cocktails.
Private dining areas are also available at Babylon in London. The private dining room welcomes up to 12 guests, with its own terrace overlooking the resident flamingos. For larger groups of up to 30 guests, a stylish semi-private area can be booked, and Babylon can also be hired exclusively for dinner and cocktail receptions of up to 120 guests.
Diners are welcome to explore The Roof Gardens on the 6th floor, however the gardens are often hired for private events so it is recommended that you phone ahead.

Faboulous meal, steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection , stunning location. The gardens were a little oasis in a bustling city. What a treasure.

All of the food was excellent, one of our best meals out. The staff were very good and the table was a good size for 4; small enough for everyone to talk, large enough to give sufficient space. We were completely unhurried, which was great.
In terms of changes:
The live music was great but a little loud to allow completely easy chatting across the table;
More spaces for 4 to sit together, rather than in a row on the terrace, would be good.
Overall, a very good experience.

I decided for the Babylon above all due to the venue but I was very impressed by the service and by the freshness and delicacy of the fish dishes chosen. Compliments.

Really excellent food and prompt polite service. However, I think 4 rolls for a table of 2 would be more appropriate than 2 and 1 tiny pat of butter was a bit mingey. The roll we shared was amazing, I think it was fennel and date or apricot, delicious. Drinks far too expensive though.

Excellent. Been before a few times & this experience lived up to what I'd remembered. I live outside of London now but have recommended the restaurant to a number of my village friends.

Beautiful views over the rooftops of London. Great eating experience, good value set lunch.

A smart restaurant in attractive location, but the kitchen is very deceiving. Even if the cod is perfectly coooked, the rest of the meal is not worth it. The price is really too high for raw vegetables, fish without sauce and chocolate dessert tasteless. Child's menu have an attractive price but the loud "night club" ambiance will not fit with a family or lover dinner. The white wine suggested by waitress is very good and the service was efficient.
