The Galvin menu showcases a host of rich flavours, in dishes such as Dingley Dell pork belly with black pudding and an apple and hazelnut salad, yellowfin tuna burger with white cabbage slaw and avocado, and potato gnocchi with braised short rib and Portobello mushrooms. Galvin classics include duck liver parfait with red onion marmalade and toasted brioche, and steak tartare with toasted sourdough.

We had a very nice corner table. The staff were efficient and unobtrusive. The meal was delicious- the cods roe and the pork on the special menu.

We have enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and excellent service on previous occasions, and will certainly come again! I have to say that on this visit our party of 4 were unanimously very disappointed with the first course of cold peas and radish in buttermilk. The other items were delicious.

The restaurant was gorgeous and the staff all went above and beyond for us, the cider soup was something else, so yummy and the duck leg! ... our companions were still hungry following the Hake main but that’s by and by, thanks for a great evening and holding our coats for us.

Table for 2 on a Thursday Lunchtime. Staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. Food was of the highest standard and well cooked and presented. There was quite a delay for the cheese course (no reason given) which delayed our return home. Overall very good
